Looks awful. Jesus. Too much god damn CGI, not enough practical effects. That's what made T2 so awesome, other than the metal morphing effects it was all right there in-camera. And then, because of technology limitations, they were judicious with how the used the liquid metal. This one just looks to be all cgi, all the time.

I'm really hoping this is just a case of a shitty trailer, but I'm really doubting it.

EDIT: It's too bad Salvation was so mediocre because I still think this trailer was awesome. Why can't they cut something like that for this movie so it at least looks good?

Not in tone, mood etc..

Just a bad picture quality it's grey-ish tint all over the scenes.. dark like dirty screen, ugly.

I got no problem with female leads.. they are just characters it really doesn't matter to me as long as they are believable.

If a Cyborg/Robot is female or male isn't really important if you get down to the core of it they will have the same "powers" and abilities.. it's all bout the character and how well it was implemented in a solid script, directed and acted well.

But what exactly we saw in the trailer ? kinda meh CGI, bad cinematography, a lot of slow motion for kinda average stuff and a lot of it not just the key moment like the entire sequence of the action was like that, last they topped it with that slow music when they have iconic music just ready to tingle on nostalgia and legit show us the T3 we all wanted strange choices overall.

I like the casting, I like that director, I like the team I would say but they missed with the trailer they need to do a way better job with the marketing moving forward or this will fail hard.

Okay of course it's not the next day since the woman has gray hear and looks 70.. but the point is they want the general public to realize that this is a continuation of T2 that this is "THE" T3.

Marketing and the filmmakers decided to push that idea hard and they have it on that first poster cause it won't be a theatrical version this is just the tease to show you Linda is back ('fresh' character since the others used Arnold before) and to put that idea in peoples head that the rest don't count that their movie is the legit continuation of the story.

Maybe the CGI isn't done ? but why not rush the parts used in the trailer so you have something good to show.

They didn't use the slow mo good they hold it for too long, something feels of with it maybe that CGI Terminator just looks fake or something.

Maybe it's because my expectations have been set so low by every Terminator, Alien, Predator, and Star Wars movie after the originals, but this doesn't look bad to me. It doesn't excite me, but it doesn't look bad. I'll probably see it in theaters.

Sarah Connor shooting a bazooka at a running targets head/torso about 30 feet away from the side? Yeah that's gonna have to be dead on accurate. 9 times out of 10 that missile just flies right past him.

Just when you think the trailer can't get any worse they are suddenly in commercial airliners flying into each other and parachuting with Humvees. Can you honestly get any more cringe?

T1 and T2 were great because they were so believable. Truck chases are ok. Flying jumbo jets into each other and Falling Humvees etc just screams "no originality or trust in your product". Is this Fast and Furious 32?

While I agree that covenant is bad, for whatever reason whenever it’s on tv I find myself watching some of it again. I always laugh my ass off at that sequence when that chick is trying to kill the first neomorph on the drop ship with that shotgun. It needs the Benny hill theme imo.

Lots of unintentionally hilarious moments. Like when david says hey stick your face in that alien egg for me, and buddy just does it without a second thought.
