That old school hair for some reason is a huge turn off for me. She's like a 5 there for me.

I love her hair in 1. I had a co-worker once with the exact same hair (literally identical in every way) and it took me a while to figure out why she looked so familiar, but when I did, it was an epic "ah-ha" moment.

Yes.

The show was absolutely fantastic. Cromartie was the best.

Weaver was awesome also.

Lena Heady was... Amazing. She IS Sarah Connor.

One of the best things about shows is that they give you time to really love characters, and once you do, they can play off the relationships they've earned.

It killed me when they cancelled this show.

I thought the show was merely decent, but Dillahunt (Cromartie) always gives an excellent performance.

Lena Headey was good, but saying she IS Sarah Connor is going a little overboard.

Agreed.

And another note that's worthy of mention, is the year Sarah Connor Chronicles ended and Game of Thrones premiered.

2009 and 2010.

If SCC wasn't cancelled when it was, and Lena had to go through another year of filming another season, she would have missed a career-defining role in Game of Thrones.

So for those who wish SCC had a 3rd season, which would have embarassing ratings, Lena Headley is very thankful it was cancelled after the 2nd season.

What was the original T3 story?

I don't think he ever fully came out with what it was going to be. All he really said was that he had ideas for "the eventual third film" (he talked about it when he was making the T2:3D attraction). But he did drop a few hints, such as talking about time travel (actually showing the compound that sends the Terminators back, etc) from the future POV.

Man, this reminds me of Aliens. It's vastly more epic than the bullshit they portrayed it as in T:G.

Btw, I'm not gonna upgrade from my T2 DVD until they put the Ultimate Edition on BluRay or 4K. I love the hours of behind the scenes special features.

I really wanted to know where they were going with the female T-1000. Seemed like she had her own ambitions.

I vaguely remember reading something somewhere about the original plans for the t3. This was way way back in the late 90's. The idea was that t3 was supposed end the war. Like it's set in the future and the humans somehow win the war. Or something like that. Basically a non shit version of Salvation.

Someone should have showed Bill Murray Ninja scroll to teach him how to headbutt "McG" Properly.

I thought T3 was an enjoyable enough slice of hokum and T4 was nowhere near as bad as people make out. Still haven't watched Genisys and tbh it's not likely I ever will. From that promo pic alone I think I'll be giving this one a miss too.

Yeh T3 and T4 weren't bad at all. Nowhere near T1 an T2 but definitely decent enough films. Got both on blu ray.

T5 I just didn't like at all. Didn't like the story, nor the casting. Arnie being in the movie was it's only redeeming value ... but that wasn't enough to overcome the uninteresting story and terrible casting.

The casting for Sarah Conner got a lot of flack.. but it didn't bother me as much as the casting for John Conner and Kyle Reece.

I hated that they made John evil, and hated the guy they cast for it. Not one iota of similarity of how I pictured the adult John. T4 had a decent adult John. Cool guy, edgy, man's man in Christian Bale.

The t5 guy was some idiot in a business s u it looking like John c Reilly or something. WTF?

The worst guy was Kyle Reese who reminded me of Johnny storm from fantastic four. That smarmy jock college douchbag cracking corny shit jokes.

Just NOTHING like Kyle Reece.

I feel like that director from last Jedi had some involvement in this movie :)

Yeh...lets fuck with and ruin this movie too for shits and giggles.

I liked T3 also and the idea of the TX. Genisys is good like T4, but they need to work on the character development more. The story lines are great, but they need to piece them together better.

Well any miniscule chance there was of me ever watching Genisys is pretty much gone forever now lol. I just can't sit through crap films anymore the way I did when I was younger. If something looks like an obvious steaming pile of turd I give it a big body swerve now and if I happen to somehow find myself sitting watching a movie thats doing nothing for me I just switch it off.

Then we're of two very different minds on this. I've watched just about every science fiction show and the only one I definitely prefer to this was Galactica.

The core cast was all fantastic. All of them, even Brian Austin Green, who I thought was a joke at first. He knocked it out of the park as Kyle's brother. Summer Glau was perfect as Cameron, and the writing for that character was incredible.

Thomas Dekker was great as John Connor. He was certainly a thousand times better than Furlong or Stahl.

To me, Lena Headey is absolutely Sarah Conor. She is by far the best actress to play the role, and she got almost thirty hours to make it hers. She's also much more interesting in this stage of her life than she was as a clueless valley girl or a burnt out soldier.

The Terminator franchise raised me as a kid. Seeing T2 on VHS changed my life. It scared and thrilled me all at the same time. Arnold was my hero I loved all his movies especially Commando and Predator.

To me Terminator is dark and gritty. It has to be rated R. It needs to be scary with the fear of a machine stalking you with the sole purpose of killing you and killing whoever disruptes it's mission.

The musical score also needs to be on point. Industrial/military sounding. Snare drums mixed with hammers hitting metal to give it that factory assembly line feel.

Terminator is all about atmosphere, from dark dirty alleyways to wet highway roads to highly polished office building (cyber dyne).

I get the 90s are over but real stunts can still be performed. We need some grit and imagination. Mad Max Fury Road was still able to capture some gritty elements from the originals. Characters need to be developed so I actually care about them surviving.

Terminator is sacred to me. It needs to be handled with care.

Rant over.
