I wonder how John Connor is gonna factor into the movie? Like why would Sarah show up without him?

I am still holding out hope we get a secret cameo from Furlong. I don't care if he's 600lbs. Eddie is John Connor.

When I first saw t2 in the theatre,i loved it. Then later on id watch the first one and wish the 2nd one was more like it..cos the first movie is kind of like a horror movie,and has that fucked up soundtrack.

But as an adult,i feel like Cameron is a genius,and that both terminator movies are kind of like comparing the first two Alien movies. They are very different but you just cant have one without the other. They are both phenomenal and that is all there is to it.

You could argue the second film does at points push even more towards horror with the T-1000 arguably being a more menacing badguy than Arnie in the original, indeed I think a case for the most menacing villain in cinema history playing on the "being chased" nightmare so effectively. Its not so totally focused on that aspect though of course where as the original never really lets up.

I just don't see it working, ever. The plot is inherently one big plothole itself, you're never gonna make a well-thought out Terminator movie, and clearly going full-tilt summer action style only resulted in the "should've been aborted" Genysis.

How many times can you send someone back in time to save someone from the past so they can help someone in the future who'll send back a robot to fight a robot who was sent back from the future to blah blah blah. Move on Hollywood, move on.
