Arnold can wear a shirt and still be a Terminator, just like in Genysis

What's Linda gonna wear? a burka?

My only problem is that I'm not thrilled with this approach.

The war against the machines isn't ONLY about John Connor. The entire world was at war. We don't need to try and wring more stories out of the same characters.

Time to take the Maserati out of the parking lot.
Yeah, I'm down with that.
I am hoping that isn't purely about John as well.
Although T3 wasn't a good movie, I did like that they talked about him having key members/liutenants in the resistance.

If they're going to recast Connor the only way to do it IMO is by going with an unknown who resembles this. Connor needs to maintain that mystery, even when you see him on screen. If you cast a known actor in there like Bale it's gonna take away the character's impact.

Btw, this is the only adult actor to play John Connor who I actually believed could be the legitimate savior of mankind against the machines. No one else looked legit. This guy looks like he's seen some shit.

Yes, unlike almost everyone else who had supposedly seen action in the next three films, he did a lot with just a few silent seconds on screen. He internalized the future war and sold its experience on camera the way Michael Biehn did in the first movie. Obviously easier to do for fifteen seconds than almost two hours, but still a good job.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares New Details on New TERMINATOR Movie

36536420184_7d230822c1_b.jpg

It was recently revealed that Linda Hamilton would return as Sarah Connor in the new Terminator movie. Now, Arnold Schwarzenegger has shared some more info on James Cameron and director Tim Miller's plans for the new project.

TheTerminatorFans.com has posted their findings from the An Experience With Arnold Schwarzenegger event at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham England, and the iconic star had some intriguing things to say about the direction this latest Terminator flick is heading in.

Schwarzenegger revealed that Robert Patrick will not be back as the T-1000. Patrick has previously expressed interest in reprising the role in some capacity, so perhaps we might see him in a future instalment of the new trilogy. There's also confirmation that the final title will not be Terminator 6, and that the film will completely ignore the events of Genisys.

It's sounding like this new instalment will actually be more of a direct sequel to Terminator 2, in which case Rise of The Machines and Salvation will also be swept under the rug.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Shares New Terminator 6 Details; Movie Will Reportedly Ignore Genisys Completely

I'm very happy it's ignoring Genisys. Fingers crossed it ignores T3 and TS as well. (And hopefully TSCC too).

Perhaps they should just come out and call it "T3". The piece of shit know as Rise of the Machines never really went by "T3" outside of fans calling it that. So they could just do it and promote it as a direct sequel to T2 and it'd fit. There'd be some confusion at first but people would get over it quick.

So huh???? 3, salvation and genyisis never happened?

That kinda ticks me off I love all the movies as a diehard Terminator fan. I'm sure it has something to do with the time machine making sense of this shit. I'm excited though! <Moves>
