Yes, in my opinion, it is. I just re-watched it recently. It has so much action. And the action scenes are so intense and mesmerizing. None of the other movies mentioned in this thread has as much ACTION as T2. Therefore, T2 is the best ACTION movie thus far.

Besides, T2 was WAAAAAAAAAY ahead of it's time.

I don't agree with his list completely (he's one of those elderly individuals who think T1 is better than T2, Predator is too low, Fury Road shouldn't even be on there, and I consider Raiders as an adventure flick, not really action) but he does have Die Hard as #1, and anyone who has it as such knows what he's talking about.

I would have to strongly disagree with Terminator 1 being better than T2, T2 took everything from Terminator 1 to the next level, Terminator 1 is not even half as good as T2. Die Hard and Predator as great as they are they aren't even in the same league as T2.

Yep. It's funny that T2 seems like it could have been made this year, and is such a timeless classic. Yet T1 is just as awesome for the opposite reason, as it's a perfect little time capsule of 1984.
