He also wore them in Risky Business, but not in the scene where he dances in his underwear. People are just consolidating multiple images of him in their mind.

The one that gets me the most is no genie movie starring Sinbad from the 90s. Blew my mind when I found out it didn't exist. I had a clear recollection of the VHS cover of him standing there with his arms crossed in front of a purple background.
