Teminator vs Terminator 2 - Alien vs Aliens

Funny thing is If I remember correctly another poster suggested this game as well.

I have a ps4 and recently played the witcher but that's the only game I have for ps4

well then I'd say your due for a play Through!

Bring a change of underwear the game is terrifying.

Well said, A.

Do you watch any of A. Tarkowskij's works? Although not explicitly 'fission bombs' or whatnot going off, he is one of the only artists (for me) to discern by such cold distance who we think we are, and what we in fact are; the aftereffects of his artistry leave me with a disbelief, duplicity and emptiness that I imagine to follow surviving a world-changing nuclear offencive.

Check out his stuff at some point but make sure you are in the mood to sit, watch and think.

Never heard of him but will definitely look him up. Any specific film by him or all of them?

I can't think of many movies where the sequel is better than the original but I do feel like that's the case with Terminator.

I also like that movie still holds up today.

Terminator by an oceanic distance.

The first Terminator was certainly darker , more horror movie like , more Ridley Scotesque , more gritty than the 2nd one but I like the 2nd one the best. But the 1st is also pretty dam awesome. They are both head and shoulders above any other sci-fi movie.

BTW,the post apocalyptic scenes in the first two terminator movies are unbelievable. The idea that its pretty much a silent black wasteland of skulls, and soulless machines searching/hunting for the last survivors is truly amazing and frightening. Especially since something like that could happen.

I know. Both were fucking beautiful the way they were made. So terrifying and hopeless. It's sickening how all the other films felt nothing like the first two, especially during their future war sequences. Genishit's future war scenes even went so far as to feel like some hopeful buddy/comedy shit. There was literally zero dread about anything. Uhg, just so so bad.

If you've ever wanted to free roam on the nostromo...i strongly suggest checking it out. it's story is also strong enough that i dont mind it being considered canon.

the developers have captured everything about the original alien in terms of mood, lighting, environment...the alien...everything.

it's worth the play through. especially for the 1979 alien movie fans.

here's the intro menu...listen to the music. feel the vibe? it's fucking alien.

It's a fucking masterful game. I played through the whole thing on Hard and it was an amazing experience! I've been hoping since Day 1 that they'll make another one. I would Pre-Order it immediately.

Love all four movies but I prefer the sequels in both cases.

I wonder if you told me this twice now. I'm certain the other person said its terrifying as well

You guys got to me,i am firing that game up in a minute.

nope wasn't me. it's a great game so i'm not surprised someone else who has experienced it suggested it. everyone I know who has played it has only great things to say about it.

Sega hasn't ruled out a sequel but while it scored high and sold decent...it didn't hit the numbers they were hoping for.

probably because its survival horror and that genre isn't as rampant as the fucking halo or cod crowd...

...i hate people. That game is amazing and I can only equate the experience to playing resident evil 1 on the playstation for the first time.

I also heard it's because it came out right after the dreadful Colonial Marines game, so expectations were low.

i cant understand why they keep fucking up avp and colonial marines games. How do you fuck that up? what are you fucking retarded???

They just keep having the wrong companies make them. Plus, I don't believe any of those games are considered AAA titles, or are made at that level. If they ever were though....damn!

The good news is that although a director, he didn't really make all that many films by today's standards (more quality over quantity), so if you enjoy one or two of his films, it's very manageable to catch them all. Maybe 10 total? (Just a guess...)

Great question though; hard to pick a starting point because he is quite unique and I reckon we all react differently to them. What we talked about here though, I recommend Sacrifice; others in my head are Stalker (hold off on this one, mate) and definitely Mirror.

If you watch one, let me know; would love to hear your opinions.

Remember though, be in a really chill mood, and when you push play, pretend you are walking through a museum or the like. He's like American director Terrence Malick, where it's his world you are in, not your own.

Were these outtakes or did they really consider having the alien butt-scoot toward.... Lambert? Is that Lambert? That doesn't look like the same space where she and Parker were killed.

I love the first Terminator, it's kinda creepy and Arnold looks so bad ass, but I also love T2 when he comes back to save the day. It's a hard decision. I would go with the first one though.

As far as Alien goes, I can't get passed the first one. I hate the whole damn movie.

Forgive me Sher-nerds
i think i can one up you. i havent seen a single aliens movie.

The scenes were deleted with extreme prejudice as they were ridiculous.

Aliens is a totally different experience from the first film. I highly suggest giving it a shot.
