Thanks. I did a bit of reading last night but will do more reading. Can you comment on the 38% effectiveness from early studies where they found that it only worked in a minority of patients while in others it had little effect and in others none.

I'm not part of the team that is working on the cocaine vaccine. We're just collaborating with some groups studying the biochemistry of addiction.
I was surprised by how few, even in our own field, knew about the vaccine research so I decided to share here. Best for people to know what is going on in the science world before they're surprised by "new advancements" (that were decades in the making) and letting special interest groups use spin doctors to cloud the issues.

No one really has to worry about anything now. That's why I said 5-10 years from now. But as more information is gleaned, the better and more focused vaccines can be developed.
