Food & Drink Teach your kids to check the merchandise after ordering pizza

Really?

Pizza delivery has been around for at least 30 years...

Pizza delivered to c-school barracks after day drinking has come in clutch.
Far as I know, most pizza places have always and still do most of their delivery. If I get a pizza delivery, it's usually from some independent pizza place, sometimes a pizza hut, maybe they just don't have enough drivers or something, i dunno.

Oh I agree, what I'm seeing is local independent Pizza spots often use the delivery apps, big chains use their own. (Or hide it better).

Was referring to dude who never ordered anything delivered.

Prefer actual Pizza delivery drivers to random person needing money

of course their own drivers would know their particular area better, have the proper pizza insulation bags and all. The delivery services do not do anything to support drivers in any way other than letting them use the app.

I once asked a fellow driver where he got his "Amazon Flex Delivery" sticker to put on his car, thinking maybe there was someplace they gave them away, he said he had to buy it on amazon, we both laughed.

I never order from a delivery service (Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc) because every fucking one of those losers acts like they're entitled to a $20 tip, at minimum.

Usually the food is not as good either because if you want to complain it's a process..

Make it a habit to always check the merchandise before paying.
When they get older this habit will stick with them as adults.
Never order pizza from UberEats or Door Dash because you pay for the merchandise before getting a chance to see it.

You don't want to end up like this poor feller.

Ever since these uber eats, door dash services took over the pizza delivery from in house drivers I have gotten just god awful service I just rather go pick up the pizza now at the counter. Last time I had a pizza delivered it was ice cold and I had to heat it up in an oven.

If the driver is hired by the store you at least have a system of accountability. If something goes wrong, the store themselves can rectify it since the delivery portion is their responsibility.

Way too much shady shit for me to ever use a 3rd party. Horror stories of stolen food and moronic drivers who get downright threatening over tips they haven't earned yet. And that store that could help you before, is going to tell you to kick rocks and take it up with your driver.

That wasn't caused by the box collapsing, you can see everything stuck at one end. Somebody did this.

Or if you have to brake hard, the box fall into the floor on its top. I’ve done that before delivering pizzas.

Really can't trust anywhere except local businesses that will accept responsibility when shit is fucked up because they rely on word of mouth.

I got my order botched at Chick-fil-A yesterday. Chick-fucking-fil-A. They NEVER get your order wrong but there I was, halfway through a sandwich before I realized it was the wrong one and after I already went back up to get my missing fries.

I knew customer service was taking a dive when chik-fil-A and in n out started messing up. I probably went 20 years without problems from those places. To in n out credit they fix the problem immediately.
