Food & Drink Teach your kids to check the merchandise after ordering pizza

Pretty much same here. The only time I had an issue was Uber dropping the food off at the neighbors house, or one time the driver just got the food and drove 45 minutes away from me so I had to cancel lol.
i've had people give the wrong address many times, just out of laziness or maybe not knowing (staying at a hotel) or, again, dumb assed college students. College students are the biggest pains in the ass, it's not even all them, there's almost always security problems at some college because they think someone is trying to look at girls and then the students just being young and irresponsible, say, waiting until i get to a place and calling saying they were somewhere else or some shit, or being drunk or whatever, or some young girl who's scared of her own shadow, dumb assed kids.

Make it a habit to always check the merchandise before paying.
When they get older this habit will stick with them as adults.
Never order pizza from UberEats or Door Dash because you pay for the merchandise before getting a chance to see it.

You don't want to end up like this poor feller.

I am teaching my kids to eat healthy so i don t have that issue.

The plastic triple prong piece is supposed to prevent that.

That wasn't caused by the box collapsing, you can see everything stuck at one end. Somebody did this.

Damn…

I'm so glad I know how to cook

Uber eats outsource most of their couriers/workers to companies who use loop holes to avoid paying them properly. If you order from them always keep that in mind. In Nederland they have previosuly required the employee to register as their own business so that way they can pay the worker below min wage and it's okay because as a business owner you set your own wages.

I’ve never been big on delivery. When my Dad passed away I got like $700 combined worth of Uber Eats gift cards from friends and colleagues for my family. We’ve never used any of them.

Uber eats and door dash are such a ripoff even before the tip, I can't believe they stay in business.

It's a shame because many restaurants stopped doing deliveries because they just use Uber eats.

But if I can't leave for some reason and get my own food I prefer to order from a pizza place that still employs their own drivers.

I'm with most of you guys, I don't get the delivery thing, but.., I'm glad they do, it's kept me from having to borrow money from people in the last few years and it's kept me from having to dig ditches and get up in monin' too.

Ok. Sounds like food delivery drivers must be made to pass some extensive exam and pay the state a few hundred bucks every two years to get licensed to deliver food. They must demonstrate basic food delivery expertise in order to serve the general public.

Back in the 80s we used to get Pizza Hut delivered but that was from drivers that were employed by Pizza Hut. Never a problem except for one time they were like 90 minutes late and gave it to us for free.

F*CK it... I Could Eat

I have never had food delivered. Not even a pizza.

It's weird to me how lazy people have gotten.

Really?

Pizza delivery has been around for at least 30 years...

Pizza delivered to c-school barracks after day drinking has come in clutch.

if you have a car why would you order for delivery there is a fee like 7 dolars just for delievery and then tip not worth it

is that how much it is? I've only used it once myself, I think I paid like 15 with a tip, I was just seeing what it was like.

Why people do it? I don't know, reasons could vary, maybe they don't want to deal with traffic, maybe they don't want to deal with crowding, maybe they don't want to be out in the city late (some of these areas are very sketchy), or maybe they're just lazy.
