Tatiana Suarez' shadowboxing looks familiar

Doesn't matter anyways

She'll ragdoll and submit Grasso in 2 minutes

Because she got good grappling. And honestly its not that much worse than this. The average level of striking in mma in general is low.

Its more complicated than that. I've heard this idea for years that striking skill in MMA is low but here is the problem with that. Striking in MMA is not like striking in boxing and its not like striking in K-1 and its not like striking in MT in Thailand. The reason why is because in MMA many other things like take downs must be defended so striking in MMA will never look like high level striking in boxing. And guess what, a boxer isn't going to come into the UFC and dance around and look great like he does in a boxing ring because he is going to have to defend take downs and kicks.

Not great but better than Rousey.
And didn't Tatiana win her season of TUF? She seems to have been pretty quiet.
She has that WMMA schedule of fighting once a year. Don't if it's injuries, "woman's problems", Shelby not booking healthy woman fighters, or a combination of all the above.

Not really no. Tatiana can try but she doesn't the combat genius that is Edmond.

{<RR}

Perfection.
Yeah, but if Ronda was wearing a bunch of rings she could chip your tooth from smiling so hard watch out dude!

Nothing compared to WMMA striking GOAT Cindy Dandois

I mean this in all seriousness...

Can I take any middle aged housewife in a cardio kickboxing class and get a UFC contract within a month?

Don’t waste your time. These mofos don’t know shit about striking.

Its a completely different sport. Fans who think MMA striking should look like high level boxing aren't taking into account that its not even the same range. Boxers stand much closer together because there are no kicks coming at them and they don't have to defend take downs, punches, elbows, knees, etc. Yes, I get it, sometimes mixed martial artists look like shit with poor striking but its far more complex than meets the eye. Look at what Lyoto just did to Vitor. Its hard to look slick with hands when you have a foot in your mouth.

Having to deal with takedowns doesn't prevent from you from getting very basic fundamentals right like turning your shots over, getting full extension in your arms and punching through the target.

I get it, some mixed martial artists have poor striking but combat athletes in other sports like boxing don't have to worry about knees, elbows, kicks, and take downs. Sometimes a guys striking looks like dog shit because he is being kicked in his legs really hard.

Turn the punch over, yes, but if your gonna drastically turn your shoulder over, theres no need to turn the wrist that much.

Cyborg, Holly, I mean shit alot of these girls make some men look like dogshit.

I mean ffs how “MMA Fans” can talk shit on these fighters is beyond me.

These are the some retards that probably called Kimbo a high lvl striker (Rip)

Honestly they just don’t know what they’re watching. You’re right and if you’re a long time MMA/combat sports fan you (them, not you specifically) should understand striking is different in MMA. There’s so many different things to take into consideration in terms of stand up fighting in MMA. There’s definitely a lot of bad strikers in MMA but there’s some damn good ones. TJ for example - the guy is fucking awesome everywhere, especially his striking.

Conor’s striking is super high level too although people never want give him credit. He might be an arsehole but the man is fucking good at fighting on the feet. I’d love to get technical about striking right now ‘cause this stuff interests me a lot but barely anybody gets it. What’s funny is that one dude here who always makes long posts about Conor’s striking and how awesome he is.. people hate on him but the guy actually does know a lot about striking lol.
