god dammit...I kept getting an error saying OK without it posting
 
for future reference, when you get the 'okay' message.. just check back in a few minutes.. it posted it. more than a few times.
 
You still could have sent a basic email. I'm sure you've put together emails already in your process, so why not send it. For all you know, the lady you talked to was new or didn't know how to handle the call. you could have taken the extra 10 minutes to send that email, but that could be a pain.
