Tai Tuivasa

anyone who signed to fight bob sapp in the past 15 or so years is going to beat sapp wether they want to or not.

Seriously.

A punch to the shoulder - SAPP IS DOWN!

Needs to go to city kickboxing

Soa was primarily a grappler who used gnp. Tai primarily uses boxing and muay thai. Shit analogy
I never seen him grapple in the fights of his that i unfortunatley watched, which were mostly losses.

I havent been that impressed with blagoi, but i always root for him, after having to go through that stabbing incident and coming back from that.
Yeah that’s nuts. I remember he dropped 100 pounds in his coma and he was struggling just to walk and breath in the hospital. Crazy that he quickly recovered, put the weight back on and jumped headfirst back into the same level of competition he was before.

He still has potential not sure he has the promise to win a title but he could crack top ten. He could of won that fight those leg kicks were very heavy. Should of took more advantage of his speed a bit more too...gave up a lot on his defence to get in close. He didn't respect his opponent enough. Entertaining fight though.

dude is like soa paleieli part 2

Nothing like Soa, Soa was primarily a grappler who gave up under pressure. Tai has a lot more heart than Soa but his all round skills probably aren't as refined and relies more on athletic ability.

OK, call him what he is... modern day Cabbage. This guy is a bum. What I mean by that is that he is barely a professional. If he took the game a little more professionally (for one thing, come in 15-20 lbs. lower, the guy is flabby any way you look at it), he could really make some hay. This guy would've been the man in 1999, but this is 2019 and everyone takes this like a profession.

yep.

You gotta be a tough hombre to make it through that and in a year he was back at it,dust himself off and re enter the cage and rattle off a streak.

he lost to choi mu bae

Thats all that really needs to be said.

Lets not forget how young and inexperienced tai is in comparison to the competition he is fighting. I could have seen that fight as a draw. Neither fighter won convincingly.

He's been fighting professionally for 7 years.
