Switching to Morning Lifts

One quick question regarding this topic. I agree that a good warm up is needed for morning workouts but how about eating before or fasted workouts and eating after?

Does it matter what of the 2 you choose if you can still have a great workout? Whats everybodys thoughts on this?

"A common problem in analysis is the confusion of correlation with causation. Baker illustrates this nicely for us. Lots of people, all of whom are crazy as hell, train early in the morning without problems. Coffee becomes more important than testosterone in this situation." - Mark Rippetoe

Personally I have a hard time doing anything productive properly before noon.

I find my best workouts are in the early afternoon. There have been studies showing that the body is most primed between 6-10 hours after being awake. I'm too lazy to search for them.

Morning People And Night Owls Show Different Brain Function
Neuroscientists in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation looked at two groups of people: those who wake up early and feel most productive in the morning, and those who were identified as evening people, those who typically felt livelier at night
Using magnetic resonance imaging-guided brain stimulation, scientists tested muscle torque and the excitability of pathways through the spinal cord and brain. They found that morning people's brains were most excitable at 9 a.m. This slowly decreased through the day. It was the polar opposite for evening people, whose brains were most excitable at 9 p.m.
* Evening people became physically stronger throughout the day, but the maximum amount of force morning people could produce remained the same.
* The excitability of reflex pathways that travel through the spinal cord increased over the day for both groups.
* These findings show that nervous-system functions are different and have implications for maximizing human performance.

I cant stand morning strenght workouts.
Conditioning or bag work is ok.
