It is because only Batman has the brains to use any prep time. Ironman does not prep. He just goes in the spur of the moment, and relies entirely on his suit. And his suit is nothing but a rocket booster with some laser guns and gives him some enhanced strength. He is no master tactician, or fighter.

As if Batman has never defeated a someone with rocket boosters and lasers and has enhanced strength.

Lulz, if that's what you think of Iron Man, then you need to read up a little. Stark has a lot of different weapons at his disposal and a lot more than Wayne does. In WWH he is able to command a giant laser attack from a space satellite while he is still on the ground. Give Batman all the prep time in the wold, Stark crushes him.

Batman only gets prep time because otherwise he would lose to every strong super hero. Yes, he is a genius and with prep time and very dangerous. But how do we know for sure Ironman won't prep if sometime told him who Batman was and what he could do?

While the Iron Man suit has been vulnerable to EMP attacks in the past, it's ludicrous to suggest that Tony Stark, a man who makes Sheldon Cooper look like a retarded chimpanzee, would not be aware of that danger and upgrade his suit to guard against it.

He has failed to upgrade his suit to guard against EMPs multiple times. Going down to an EMP as recently as Thor 3.

It was a bolt of lightening from the God of fucking Thunder. And this was after Thor had punched Iron Man through several buildings. By Thor's own admission he was, "No longer holding back" in this fight. Bear in mind that Thor can summon lightening bolts powerful enough to kill the Sentry, who is the living avatar of the Wrath of God.

There's a huge difference between one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, especially when he's pissed off enough to bring his A Game, and a human being. No matter how smart, talented and dangerous he is. At the end of the fight, Thor warns Tony not to attack Asgard or, "Learn again the difference between a God...and a man in a metal suit."
