Sup?

Well you said for someone to name a date and place and you'd do it. ASU threw out one in a couple months which you wouldn't do. Drew then threw out another one that you signed up for and backed out of. I guess that one was a "few" months, but I still don't think you could total 1500 by then unless you packed on some weight.
Drew said he would be there then said he wouldn’t. I’m not going to schedule an off day to drive 2 1/2 hours to pay somebody to do 9 attempts at lifts. I also told you If there is a local meet sometime I will go do it. I didn’t register for the usapl with the intention of just paying them a fee for no good reason at all. If there is a convinient meet that aligns with my schedule then I will do it. This really isn’t complicated. It isn’t that important.

Then why act like you can do it? This is how all conversations with you go. "I'll total 1500 and show you". That then becomes "well I'm not going to do it then" and morphs to "I probably can't do it, but I could if I cared about it".

Honestly, I think you making the original claim acting as though you could total 1500 at the meet shows your ignorance on lifting in general. Hitting numbers sporadically at different time periods, let alone different days, does not translate to a meet total. I'd be surprised if you hit much higher than 1300 honestly.

Even drew said himself he thinks I could total 1500 and I certainly know what it would take to do it. I simply do not care enough about it. I am interested why you are? Sometimes I say things to hype myself up and get motivated. I am simply not motivated by a powerlifting meet at this time. Is that ok with you?

Sometimes I really don't think you comprehend what you are reading or saying lol.

What’s your plan for totaling 1500? I don’t think you can squat 500 to depth, and a 600 deadlift is a pipe dream at this point. But let’s pretend you somehow manage to lift those in a meet, I guess you’re going to bench 400? A shaky t&g 275 to a paused 400 doesn’t seem realistic.

Anyways I will register for the meet and do it during the summer seems like a decent challenge

I’m genuinely curious how you think you would total 1500. You’re fairly tall and I think you’re close to being a masters lifter. I could see you going 500/330/600 if you put in some time and had a 9/9 perfect meet. The problem is you’re not really exceptionally strong or explosive. If you had one lift that you were exceptional at you might get close to 1500, but your sbd numbers are too low.

Yes, I’ll be there. The stipulation is that we’re doing $1500 for 1500. Anything less and you pay $1500. I’m not wasting my time and making the trip just to watch you total 1185.

Nope I am not making a bet like that. Ill come lift though.

Come on emoney…

What bold claims have I made that has upset you? Do you honestly think I sit around all day thinking about beating up people I don’t even know? I have found enjoyment in the level I play at. There is no pass to given because there is nothing be given a pass for. I’m not selling you anything nor harming anybody that I know of. And I honestly don’t remember saying anything negative about you personally at all. I viewed your log a long time ago and that was it. Had absolutely nothing negative to say about it. ??????
You and that weirdo with the Wonka avatar were getting buck wild in the S&C a few years ago, it was at that point you threatened violence. None if it is upsetting by the way, if anything you bring entertainment to this neck of the woods. I hope to see your name appear on a liftingcast or on Openpowerlifting some day so you can officially back up your claims.

No, they are in an age range and experience level where they have constant improvement, low skill low barrier of entry sport = instant gratification when young.

When someone instructs other people on how to do a thing, doesn't it make sense for the instructor to try to be, better than average/practiced, at the thing they are instructing? You get that, right?

I said playing those sports would be a waste of time for me right? I'm 42, if it's not something like golf or fighting I'll stick to fitness (just my opinion). I routinely tell HS and College age athletes NOT to prioritize powerlifting over team based sports. I'm not scrolling back but maybe I didn't clarify.

You've made bold claims here about baseball and your lifting, you said you wanted to kick my ass (fucking laughable), and said multiple negative things about my lifting and how it would impact my coaching. You will not get a pass from me, sorry. Hopefully you crush it in baseball and find enjoyment in the level that you're at. I would like to see you back up your many lifting statements and do a meet. Unfortunately everything I've seen in the past 5 or so years leads me to believe that I won't get my wish.
ASU I just hit the top of the fence at 340 I am disappointed it wasn't a home run. I made a diving play on second and everybody there went "ooooooooooooooooo". I made it home on a single to the outfield and slid in head first before the throw got there and it felt good to help the team win by starting a rally when were down. So my question is do you think that amateur olympic lifting and powerlifting exclusively to the detriment of training for and being able to handle the mental gymnastics throughout a game in amateur team sports at 40 is the most optimal way to live your life when it comes to your fitness or even your ability to fight other people? Since are a lawyer I am sure you can figure out which fitness model I should be doing to quite possibly live forever and be basically the god of war Aries in the after life as well so that nobody can defeat me in anything ever in the afterlife. Please let me know which physical and mental attributes lead to immortality with ability to squat numbers that are not even imaginable to the human mind as well as being able to run distances at the speed of light as well as dominate any sport that the human mind has ever invented both physically and mentally. I am at a loss here?

Nice work E. My nephew plays D3 and hit the fence this weekend too, they're still searching for win #1 unfortunately (0-10).

I got a headache trying to read that drunken middle part so I will leave you with this, I think you are an exceptional individual and you can and SHOULD do anything you want to do. Keep up the good work and please inform the strength and conditioning sub forum, of an MMA site, when you get one over the fence!

There was nothing drunken about it and I used a wooden bat.
