Thought it was ok. I didn't like how they all turned to be good guys at the end when sitting in the bar.

Also I didnt like the joker at all. Might not be Leto's fault but I kept thinking how much I would like to see hedge ledger's joker.

Also I didnt like the joker at all. Might not be Leto's fault but I kept thinking how much I would like to see hedge ledger's joker.

My friend and I both agreed Leto's performance wasn't bad and wasn't the reason we weren't feeling him. We think it has something t do with his design. I don't like it.

edit: rewatching the scene where Joker first appears in TDK. Leto and Heath had very different approaches and were in different places in their Gotham crime career. Leto is a gang banger, a well established and respected Gotham mob boss with hunders of henchmen at his disposal. He eats up the attention and wears his gimmick proudly too boost his ego and larger than life status.

Heath was a loner. A guy who got bored doing whatever the fuck he was doing prior to his Gotham arrival and he quickly found his niche there. Batman was sending the mobs hiding because they had no power over or control him. He wasn't "playing by the rules" he was playing by his rules. Joker had a similair mentality but unlike Batman who used fear to enlist order, Joker used fear to enlist chaos.


If these two were in the same universe I'd guess that Heath would the guy trying to trow a wrench in Leto's plans.

David Ayer: “This is sort of my personal thing and maybe less about a larger connection. But Joker killed Robin and Batman basically smashes his teeth out and locks him up in Arkham Asylum. It’s in the asylum where Joker would have done the ‘damaged’ tattoo as a message to Batman saying, ‘You’ve damaged me. “I think there was an expectation of what the film should have been. People really wanted more Joker and wanted him to be an A-plot component. SUICIDE SQUAD Sets Tuesday Box Office Record For August, Beats CIVIL WAR

Warner Bros. super-villain movie Suicide Squad stormed the box office for a $14.27 million on Tuesday, up nine percent from Monday and bringing the film’s total box office gross to $161.1 million.

That’s a new record for a Tuesday in August, beating Guardians of the Galaxy’s previous record of $11.9 million. This isn’t the first time that Suicide Squad has blown past Marvel’s cosmic adventure. Suicide Squad previously shattered Guardians of the Galaxy’s record for highest grossing August opening weekend.

Suicide Squad’s first Tuesday box office is also higher than Captain America: Civil War’s, which took in $13.76 million in its fifth day in theaters. However, it should be noted that Suicide Squad was released during the summer, when school is out and weekday movie attendance tends to be highest, compared to Civil War’s April release.

Suicide Squad seems to actually be picking up steam as people respond to the good word of mouth and realize the reviews are largely biased horseshit by elitists.

It's a fun summer movie, not Citizen Kane.

only just seen this,thought it as better than BvS,but where have i seen the whole,build something to do damage gimmick before? oh yeah avengers. with that said,certain things stood out for me,id like to see a leto joker film cause i thought he was good.would be interested in a deadshot film and of course the harley quinn movie.

I think people are looking into the movie way too much and expecting more than it is.

It's not for everyone but I appreciate a different take on the character rather than just trying to replicate what Heath or Jack did. At the end of the movie I still wanted to see more of him so it worked for me.
