I was repeating what Leonard said, he was rocked a few times, and after 15 rds he took a real beating, and it wasnt going to happen again in the rematch...First fight was very close.

What evidence do you have of that?
Express ticket to jail. His violations are mounting.dont be surprised if Conor suckerpunches him when he sees him somewhere having a drink or something
Apparently its only dangerous if you breath it.Doesnt mean we cant say that asbestos isn't fucking terrible should be avoided and unequivocally causes cancer. Just like I wouldn't say getting punched in the face every day for 15 years is safe for your brain.
when you a millionaire, its hard not to be, I guess. He was a coke head at one point.
That’s unknown.Conor did better then Floyd would have in MMA
50.Yikes! I thought I was going to open this to find Leonard punching someone 25-30yrs older than him.
are those boobs in your avatar natty? if so, send me location (porhnub link.)No way thats true about Duran. Ray to a beating in the 1st fight because he stood toe-toe with Duran.
2nd fight he just out boxed an out of shape Duran
He doesn't exactly move like a young man. That was pretty funny lol.
Also, goddamn. Ray looks almost exactly the same as he did the day he stepped into the ring to fight Hagler. The man has found the fountain of youth.
Been watching Floyd since06.
Anyone suggesting he'd put that lack of care into any of his fights, much less the last of his career is as delusional and ignorant as you can possibly get
And he was shredded, you don't look like that without a serious camp
Plenty of boxers gave McGregor credit, including Leonard:
He threw about 40 punches first 3 rounds and Floyd has never done that before
Never. He was strictly fitness and energy.
Every fighter 20 years older than him that got into coke looks 20 years older than him. The guy is well into his 60s.
Longevity and cocaine are never together in sport.
I gotta find that thread with videos of like 20 boxers all giving conor respect for his performance. Almost all of the boxing media as well, a lot of whom have been around the game for a long time. Most of those guys didn't even like conor, some even openly talked shit about him.I have been watching him since about 98 and I told you that Ray Leonard was only being nice saying Conor done well
It would look very bitter if one of the greatest boxers ever blasted a man that tried to come over and fight one of the best to do it
Floyd definitely carried Conor in that fight bro

That's what I saw as well. To me this whole "floyd carried him" thing has always seemed like a narrative without real substance behind it and a lot of dislike fueling it, which will naturally distort any objective truth.
For me it was simple why floyd fought the way he did. His gameplan was to let conor punch himself out, attack the body and bring him into deeper waters. Pretty simple stuff. Gotta factor in that floyd was also a 40 year old man, well past his prime and he was fighting a guy who does have power, some speed and good reflexes early on, along with being a southpaw with an unorthodox style for boxing. People expecting floyd to fight as he always does as a 40 year old man is silly, especially in the last fight of his career.
Even paulie said that Conor's style is unorthodox and takes time to figure out.
I think floyd played it safe early on, got a feel for his movement, timing, range, sneakily attacked the body and allowed him to punch himself out. As time went on, Conor became less of a threat and you seen floyd come out of his shell and later adjusted to a more offensive style exposing Conor's weakness to pressure / lack of boxing defense at that level.
If floyd just came out and tried to end him from the start, it would've left openings and it's a risk someone like floyd of all people would never take. He played it smart, attacked the body, took him into deeper waters and drowned him. Fought like you would have expect a 40 year old floyd to fight
I think this whole "floyd carried him" narrative seems like it has more to do with with not liking conor than an actual logical, rational breakdown of the fight

floyd said it himself.
I broke it all down in my postThey were being NICE!
Bro if you know anything about boxing, you would know that Floyd fought a style completely foreign to him
He was carried FFS lol
Thing is, floyd initially praised him. He started catching a lot of heat from the boxing community though which is where you seen the shift. When you actually watch the fight and form your own opinion, they seemed like face saving comments in the midst of massive criticism on the performance for the last fight of his career. I took it with a grain of salt because I think the fight paints a very different picture but I think the general consensus among fans changed pretty significantly after floyd made those statementsBecause he did carry him

I think when you break down the fight rationally, the reasoning and strategy behind floyd fighting the way he did was very simple.
I still think my breakdown for Floyd's strategy is pretty on point lol. Not that it's anything complicatedYou are like playing chess with a pigeon
No matter how good you are at chess,
the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces,
crap on the board, and then strut around like he has won.
We will agree to disagree bro lol
