this would be the last thing I'd do on an internationally televised event, but that's just meKeith Jardine used to do it too lol

I always appreciated Rashad as being a true professional, always showed up ready to fight win or lose, he's also has a very long run of fighting guys at the highest level (Top 10 LHW's) for nearly a decade. The only knock I have on Rashad would be his long layoffs, but the mans gotta stay healthy, and also the nipple twerking thing, I thought that was bizarre.

I get what you mean and you've mentioned that before about appreciating fighters as they get older. Rashad was definitely a gentleman of the sportTowards the end of some fighters career I tend to appreciate them a lot more. Rashad is one of these guys. He has done a lot in the sport and grew from a young arrogant fighter to a real gentlemen of the sport. He was just plagued with injuries over the last few years and never got to show what he had to bring.
It was Jackson's thing haha
GSP did it too, pretty much every fighter at Jackson's did it.

It was a mental thing, if I recall correctly I believe their theory behind that was that if they tweaked their nips before their fight they pretty much are embarrassing themselves, so if they embarrassed themselves already before the fight they won't worry about embarrassing themselves in their fights.

That seems reasonable lol
Could be a good strategy for up and coming fighters lolThey might have been on to something, when you guys see me in the future tweaking my nips before a fight you know why.
Interesting note, thanks for edumacating me, honestly never heard that before. It was Jackson's thing haha

I hespect the fact that he stood up to douchy bully Quinton Jackson and beat his ass in the fight.
Even though he ko'd my dad Liddell it's too hard to not like Rashad. Don't count him out just yetWhen Rashad Evans showed up for the tryouts of TUF season 2 Dana White blatantly told him he was too small and that he would get beaten easily by every other heavyweight on the show.
Despite being the smallest heavyweight on the show Evans managed to make it to the finale of the show where he defeated the much bigger Brad Imes to become TUF 2 champ.

Rashad Evans managed to go on to have one of the most successful Light Heavyweights in UFC history.

With notable wins over Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Michael Bisping, Tito Ortiz, Rampage, Hendo, Jason Lambert and Phil Davis; Evans has wins over a Current/former UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, WEC, and Bellator champ.
Every fighter's time comes to an end at some point, unfortunately as of late Evans looks like he's approaching the end. Regardless of what happens on Saturday night, this could very well be the last time we see this future UFC Hall of Famer compete inside the octagon.
Love him or hate him, you have to respect him.
