He was also a good coach on TUF. He killed Rampage in the opening round winning 7 out of 8 fights.
Most of the guys Rashad coached went on to have relatively successful mma careers, most notably Big Country, Schaub, Mitroine, Madsen...
Hell, Shad was a better coach towards Rampage's guys than Rampage himself was. lol.
Not to mention, he was Jones' mentor and "big brother". He also saw through Jon into his true character, and correctly predicted Jon's downfall years ago. He tried to set Jon straight but Jones gonna Jones- he was stubborn and didn't listen.
Entertaining in the cage, and just as smart outside of it. Unfortunate that the final chapter in his career was plagued with injuries. Really looking forward to his fight with Kennedy though. Been a fan from the start, and will be a fan after he eventually retires.
