When Rashad Evans showed up for the tryouts of TUF season 2 Dana White blatantly told him he was too small and that he would get beaten easily by every other heavyweight on the show.

Despite being the smallest heavyweight on the show Evans managed to make it to the finale of the show where he defeated the much bigger Brad Imes to become TUF 2 champ.

Rashad Evans managed to go on to be one of the most successful Light Heavyweights in UFC history.

With notable wins over Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Michael Bisping, Tito Ortiz, Rampage, Hendo, Jason Lambert and Phil Davis; Evans has wins over a Current/former UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, WEC, and Bellator champ.

Every fighter's time comes to an end at some point, unfortunately as of late Evans looks like he's approaching the end.

This move to 185 may be Evans' last chance to revive his career, win lose or draw on Saturday night, this very well might be the last we see of Suga Rashad Evans.

Love him or hate him, you have to respect him.

Def did much better than Matt thought he would.

I'm going to try to find his comments towards Matt Hughes after he beat Chuck

Rashad is hilarious and I wish him all the best. Rooting for him to upset Kennedy saturday, very glad to hear he's healthy and had a good camp he's been banged up the last few times out

Definitely a ton of respect for the man. That Chuck KO was one of the most unexpected and brutal I've seen in MMA. I hope he does well at MW too.

Lmao yeah please share

Agreed @BC, I was bummed out to see him lose up Texeira like that

Also, bonus Rashad respect. He called Rampage back and they had a good laugh:

Yeah dude that bummed me out bad to see him go out like that. His post fight interview was hard to watch too.

BC with a lil history lesson, eh?

Rashad is a cool guy. At UFC 113 in Montreal he was at the weigh ins doing some post weigh in analysis, and my friend and I we're yelling "Rashad!" in his moms accent (He had just put out a video of him imitating his mom). He didn't look our way but he definitely heard us and laughed.

Rashad's a skilled fighter and a hard worker. I thought the Phil Davis fight was his most complete performance. He basically son'd Davis with crisp technique. He's had a good career, but I've thought for a while now that he should be at MW.

I wish him luck against Kennedy. The fight has a lot of different variables but I hope 'Shad wins.

Yeah and I remember the reporter was being pretty insensitive to his situation with all her responses and questions

I'm rooting for him hard against Kennedy

The Kennedy fight will be excruciating good thing it is on the prelims.

Yeah I figured I'd balance out my shit posts lol

Most definitely his fight with Davis was pure domination and agreed I'd have liked to see him make that jump to 185 a few years back. Here's to hoping we get one more highlight real KO from Suga Rashad.

Especially against Kennedy

I always appreciated Rashad as being a true professional, always showed up ready to fight win or lose, he's also has a very long run of fighting guys at the highest level (Top 10 LHW's) for nearly a decade. The only knock I have on Rashad would be his long layoffs, but the mans gotta stay healthy, and also the nipple twerking thing, I thought that was bizarre.
