Social Study finds Covid has altered Americans attitudes toward inequality and the poor

Where tf do you live where you can just get a job whenever you want? You sound totally insulated and basing your opinions on anectdotes. I bet you're 50 and lonely haha
Literally everyone is hiring right now. No one is looking for work.
Your attempt to make the conversation about me instead of the topic needed to be more subtle. My personal life is unknown to you and has nothing to do with what we're talking about.

As far as I know all the industrial and construction trades are still going strong.
We are constantly looking for people, skilled tradesman and unskilled (laborer).

***If anyone here needs employment and you're near Louisville, hit me up***

Depends where you live. Here in Canadahar if you are in a building trade you have probably weathered this well. If you are a welder, industrial electrician, instrumentation tech, mechanic or other industrial trade you are either lucky to be working or completely fucked. Keep in mind our federal government has used the pandemic to shit on anything that isn't green.

Surely this means they'll vote out people locking them down and closing their businesses

They were poor due to stupidity and laziness, now they are more poor due to ineptitude and stupidity of the government.

Next they be broke and starving due to the stupidity of electing brain dead socialist's into power.

Still boils down to the stupidity of the individual.

The coronavirus pandemic may have altered how many people in the United States view the poor, according to new research published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology. The study indicates that people became more likely to blame external factors for poverty and less likely to blame personal failings after the outbreak of the virus.

Maybe this will open the door for a more leftist/Bernie type candidate in 2024.

Discuss..

No, it won't. What people say doesn't reflect what people do. Bernie should be living with the bare minimum and donate everything else he has, if he was true to his own ideology. Every single motherfucker who spits out garbage socialist ideology lives just as in as much comfort as any full blown right wing capitalist. Everyone wants to signal virtue, but they don't really have that virtue. Are those people selling their luxury items so they can help the poor? Show me proof. I see none.
