I think he is good guy over all but shit just seems to follow him everywhere. Part his own doing, part is just bad luck.

Most of us probably have friend like that. I got a buddy we call "liability". No matter what if something is going to happen it will happen to him. Sometimes he creates the issue, other times its just random shit that he seems to find himself in the middle of it all. He is all to often in the wrong place at the wrong time. His whole life is like that. But overall a great guy and friend that would do anything for you.

I think he is a good guy. I worked in a men's shelter with patients who were murderers, and they were nothing but kind to me and would always ask for advice. They rehabilitated themselves.

The problem with combat sports, and with money on the line, is it leaves an opening to become a better person, richer person, or resorting back to a violent way. Be your own sensei, or you don't. Not to mention, most of those types of violent people aren't great under bright lights. It's a yin yang situation I think.
