The only show you weren't sure who was going to live was GOT... but they fucked that up big time.
Sopranos had that element, too.

Hhmm. Never even pondered that. He was killed in the upside-down so it's definitely a possibility
And apparently the Bats in DND Lore turn the people into vampires , and a Vampire in the series becomes a key ally against Vecna after betraying him.
Yeah the bullying was way over the top lol. Like the entire class is just going to laugh and point when the mean girl makes fun of the seemingly special needs girl's dead father? And then everyone in school loses their shit and laughs when mean girl trips her and steps on her diorama? Then the entire ice rink staff including the dj's lmao are going to stop everything to humiliate her in front of her boyfriend, do an evil disney musical number around her and then throw her own slushie on her? LMAO this is the most hardcore fucking HS ever.
You mean Max or the lesbian?
I loved Max this season.
I don't get it either. He had some relatively funny moments but looking back he didn't have that many memorable moments considering the attention he's getting. Not understanding the eddie love. He wasnt bad, but christ on a stick, lets ease it back...

2 and 3 were good although not great, shouldn’t have to struggle. Well, except for one craptastic episode in season 2 but he can skip that one really.Season 1 is amazing. If it was a stand alone season, the show would still be great. Then season 4 is also really good.
A
You’re just gonna have to struggle with seasons 2-3
Makes the Cobra Kai high school look like a nice place to be by comparison.

It’s funny with Robin, the actress. Most celeb kids look little like their parents, wether hotter or uglier than their parents. Robin looks like an exact cross of Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.Since there is a guy in here who hasn't seen the current season I will post in spoilers but
Should have been Robin who died this season, not Eddie. Robin is useless. She's not even comedic relief, she's there because she looks a bit like Uma Thurman and someone running the show decided they liked that. She's not a love interest, she's not a main character, she has no arc and serves no purpose. They should have had her on the drums when Eddie was playing and handcuffed her to them to be eaten by the bats.
I kinda agree for the most part. Especially the comic relief pizza guy. He should have had at least one redeeming scene that held some weight and wasn’t just him being a dumb stoner. At this point, unlike other characters who hurt when they died, I was kinda hoping he would lol.I feel every season has had many things I’ve liked and a few things I haven’t. But season 3’s high points were, in my opinion, among the highest of the entire show. It’s just there was some silliness that detracted at times.
It’s one of the things I find a little jarring about the show. There are dramas that have funny elements to them and the humor is so organic within the narrative that it doesn’t feel out of place at all. Scorsese and Tarantino tend to pull that off so seamlessly. So you have an ultra intense scene like Landa talking to Lapadite at the beginning of Inglorious and then you can have Brad Pitt trying to present himself as an Italian while not even masking his thick Tennessee accent and it works. Wolf of Wall Street is a great example of seamless blending.
But on Stranger Things- like I found with the recent Thor movie- the intense stuff is so intense and the goofy stuff is so goofy that it almost feels out of place when it happens. Like I said earlier, this season, I felt like El, Lucas, Max, and Nancy were on a different series than those sequences with The California Crew going to meet Dustin’s girlfriend. Or the scenes with Winona Ryder and Brett Gelman. ryder went from ultra serious, earnest performance in the early seasons to now being in like a action romcom. And, look, I think Gelman is a hilarious actor. He steals the Other Guys when he’s on screen briefly. His character is entertaining on this show but, again, it seems like a different show.
Dude from the pizzeria by the way was far too much involved in the narrative, no? Less is more with that type of comedy. For instance, I thought the scene where he and Byers were high and were defending El’s actions with the roller skate on the drive home was humorous akin to Imperioli rambling on about uniqueness at Livia Soprano’s funeral. But then they just kept the guy dialed up to 11 for the entirety of those scenes and it just got on my nerves after a while.
