Economy stonks v27: banks, the kings of vega

lol why did I not buy WAL at 17 an hr ago well after the BK denial?
Back to 22.5

I dipped my toes in slightly with NVO after the 5% drop. I couldn't resist.

Wegovy (weight loss drug) missed sales estimates because of supply capacity problems. It was still up 225% Y/Y to DKK4.56B. Net sales grew 27% Y/Y to DKK53.37B. Operating profit up 31%, EPS up 41%.

They've got a license to print $ with all the fatties out there.
The competition could also cut revenue. Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) is showing even greater weight reduction than Semaglutide due to being both a GLP-1 and GIP receptor co-agonist. It will basically be the new king of weight loss drugs when it gets FDA approval as a weight loss only drug. One problem with these newer medications in general though is many have trouble getting insurance to cover it even for Diabetes management inconjuction to weight loss let alone weight loss only. Some physicians will prescribe Ozempic/Mounjaro off label though, however it can be expensive. There are other older GLP-1’s that can also be prescribed like Victoza, although efficacy is not as good as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.

lmao jesus christ I missed buying some of that garbage "TOP" meme stock by a few cents around 10 after hrs...its up at $17 only 90 min later

edit: lol $19 now.
Would have almost doubled up on this garbage

Definitely shady stuff going on with some of these Chinese names. Maybe they'll pump $HKD again. Seems to be flat lining atm but due a massive pump.

Hope any of you mofos followed me in on Wal Zion , Icahn enterprises etc lmao.
Crush mode.

LLY will definitely benefit as well, and i'm also looking to add that at some point in the future. Together LLY and NVO have at least 12 more anti-obesity medications in development. There will probably continue to be improvements, but they are looking to be the main beneficiaries of a blockbuster market.

i missed basically all of it. this week had all kinds of gifts raining onto me, and i seemed to be actively trying to avoid them.

Sigghhh finally a losing day for me about down a %; thought I was hedged but big "rigged market vibes" as every fake co is squeezing up and real cos seemingly down.

well, if you wanted a second chance to get iep at 30... lolz.

i've stayed out of that, entirely.

been daytrading banks longer than i expected.

Commodities taking a hammering at the moment.

I think there is some opportunity in these stocks IMO. Crude will likely hover around the 70's mark.

$UWMC took a beating today.

lol man Brian Sullivan on CNBC has become such a sardonic imbecile with his Last Call show.

I cant believe he has Matt Gaetz the scumlord p*d* congressman to try to promote a ludicrous bill banning all senators from stock ownership. Completely unfounded lunatic shit implying govt officials are trading on secret info.

I'm feeling very bullish on $HOOD stock after earnings. I think it runs back to $11 easily.

wanted to get back in maxn last week but never saw a good entry. oops.

been playing vixy more than anything, this week. i'm not sure what this means, but apparently i've gone in a circle to 3-4 years ago with my trading.

debating if i should jump on enph.

i went in and out on 2 quick trades. debated keeping a little of it, but didn't. if they can get their shit together and actually make money/slow their bleeding, they should be a great passive play. might be a big if, though.

i wish they had otc/ADRs (outside of the few ADRs they allow) and short-selling, but they're getting better.
