I doubt it'll be anything as bad as 2008 but it's going to get interesting to see how it plays out.. Will need to conduct a bit more research but I think the party is over personally with higher rates, plus high inflation and the lay offs starting to roll in. Credit being maxed out as well, so finances are being stretched.

Already seeing the 'soft landing' is being achieved or likely articles now. You just know markets are going to roll over again soon lulz. Long dated PUT's for me. It's either we hang around here for a while or we are on the brink of a good dump. I'd be astonished to see new highs but hey, it's always possible.

Calling him a gimmick is harsh. He's right about the next crash but most likely early just like last time.
 
Out on the pump. Loaded $SQQQ $37.50 +150 shares. Looking to short around here, like the risk/reward. Tight stop.

This rally is absurd.
One of my worst days in a while thanks to sticking around in BOIL and natgas seeing no benefit from this surge. Hoping Freeport terminal news trickles out and gives some bump there.
I can't see things surging much more tho and will be putting more shorts on.

Looking at shorts but its getting difficult at this pace with these kinda moonshots.

Decided to re-enter SQQQ small and will add 2moro if markets continue mooning. Let's see what happens. Risk on I guess. Lots of junk is way up now with no earnings lulz.

you're clueless.

they had charges which impacted the eps, their revenue was better than expected (and only down 4% yoy), and most importantly... they announced $40B in buybacks.

Definitely appears that way man. I've made countless mistakes over the past year. I'm gonna take a long break, reflect on them, and build cash.

It's not even the money I've lost... it's all the the opportunities missed. Live and learn
 
Such a weird market.

Could head back down towards 3500 and find a lower low, could head back to 4800 and find a higher high, could be range bound for an extended period. Honestly have no idea what is next.

I got short positions if there is a crash, longs positions if it moons, and cash for trading if it's range bound as well if one of those extremes plays out.

Just going to try and play every side at this point.

Timing markets isn't easy man. This year has been wild already tbh. Sold out my trading positions mostly last week, missed about +7k worth of gains oops. Smacked on $SQQQ today, will sell at loss, seems a risky hold with more big tech earnings. Holding four long (no intention to sell) $SFM +17%, $NU +29%, $ERO + 86%, $NIO -40%. $ERO has been on absolute ripper. Bullish as ever on copper.

My only regret was not loading more on longs, notably tech. Sat here with a lot of cash 75% like what now?!

Sticking with re-entering sometime near Q1 on shorts. Staying away for the next few months.

Nah most lose timing for a reason. I bought 100 of META at 90 and then just dropped it days later on a whim. Bought 100 shares of spy at 358 but dropped it at 375 thinking I was sharp. Million other fumbles. Good luck to you as well. I'll be a spectator for a while.
