That's what I said. I think it's easier for NIO to double at $40 than it is for TSLA to double at $1000 (those are roughly the current prices). I'm giving that as an example of the return on investment. With NIO the potential gains are much higher than with TESLA. Nice. It’s back to 320 atm. Earnings will be interesting. Not sure what to expect considering how high the stock is.

Shorting UPST sounds like a terrible idea. Of course you can see in hindsight, but it's like Tesla where you know it's overvalued but will still probably keep running. I thought 700 was a good place for puts on Telsa, and completely lucked out by averaging down to get out on slight dip in an otherwise $400 run.

It would seem shorting UPST would have been reasonable like $100 ago, but you would have gotten torched if you had.

Its gonna get pumped after hours on CNBC by some Eric Jackson hedge fund guy but yeah prolly tops at 400

i eagerly jumped at making the same mistake and sold the same calls on the same shares i had prior to yesterday's shit. lolz. but i made a good amount on yesterday's dip, so whatever.
