Economy stonks v18, stimutacs

At this point do you just tell them to do whatever fills them up with sunshine and rainbows? Trying to explain things to somebody who already has their mind made up and is totally green is a waste of time.
I basically tell any new investor: be candid with yourself how late into the musical chairs song you heard the music and that you're betting literally in a craps game against other noobs to benefit some random hustlers, not a real company or investable concept lol.

Buying power of people with a little cash to burn and smartphones YouTube keeps going up and up and up

Proper investors haven’t yet figured out the new reality to adjust properly to the weirdness. It’s like a pro poker player being thrown off by an amateur getting a few lucky hands. Can’t play them like a fellow pro.
Well the huge stacks can and will on the aggregate.

This is the last gasp of the lockdown hypemen trying to grand finale who gets the last word on branding of what's cool before people are actually living in the real world again.
Notice how Musk has been particularly promotional this month leading into earnings?

Honestly I hope so its just madness watching shit coin go to the moon whilst I spend hours of my time every week researching stock making tough decisions lol. Not jelly those that make some gains I’m glad but I hope they take profit before the dump. Legit gambling might as well play roulette! Maybe sensible investing is a thing of the past!

Reminds me of that saying, “she’s not yours, it’s just your turn”. Some people just need to learn the hard way.

The entire goal is to get everyone to think they should hate financial regulators/enforcers. If you get enough absolute morons into doge or some other weird asset bubble they feel the high and the dream of "wealth" even if they're playing $25, then if they win or lose you can blame it on some outside force they don't understand.
Just like GME shit.
It's a really really effective propaganda tool for the ultra rich to get lesser people to support ultra-rich-person antireg policies so they can dance around being mega-hustlers because now these fools are all convinced they're 2-doge 40xs away from being a billionaire too lol. If enforcing rules of hype scams is hated by the public, the hustlers get a layer of social protection, PLUS the overwhelming volume of transactions created provides logistical cover in numbers with what has to be reviewed.

There's currently a 1 store Deli with a gym teacher as the CEO and director with an OTC Market Cap of 100 million right now.

Oh great Jason Calacanis sucking off Chamath on CNBC how awesome.

lol talking about holding shit 20 years. What a liar.

I didnt even realize I got some Sunrun to fill after hrs only up 1% and now its up 7% lol. Could go to 60 maybe but 50 is enough for me.

as a trader, i'm killing it.

as an investor, i'm down almost as much.

that's what i get for trying to be more responsible.

Not going to keep checking the shit all day, but $CLOV puts are going to print when that dumps out.

you sound like a miserable short seller ;)
Missed out anyway. I put the order in if the contracts got to $175 and looks like it stopped short and shares are already falling back down. Oh well.

$30 investment haha. The sheer stupidity of it all is amusing, there's an endless supply of the stuff. I bought it exactly for this reason, some entertainment if enough people decide to pump it. If my $30 become worth a couple grand I'll sell half or something but otherwise I really don't care if it goes to zero.

I did the same thing. Bought 3,300 of them at about $0.04 a piece for the laughs. And the last two days have been full of em.

What a ridiculous thing the internet is.

Can’t play them like a fellow pro. Even if they’re doing dumb things, still too unpredictable to assume the normal rules follow.
Fantastic analogy.
I have been in the market for a long time. Fuck at one time in my life I owned Lucent.
I probably gambled more this year on shit then I did, when I started. Most paid off.
I also have been smart enough to at least take some money out of my gambles. So in some cases holding free shares and in other holding some shares with money in my pocket.
My new strategy is Blue Chips, high dividend stocks or EFT's.
I think fundamentals are making a comeback, but still think you will have a couple stocks that don't make fucking sense going to the moon. Just not as many.
Caveat, I am just a dude that posts on a karate forum, and the stocks I buy I like.

I think fundamentals are making a comeback,

i dunno, man. the talking heads keep saying this shit, but i'm holding companies with PE's of like 5 and literally more cash than they know what to do with... and they just go straight down.

i think all we really saw was every stock/sector deemed bubbled got rekt (some not enough, like blnk and the EV companies with no cars til 2025... or just no cars, ever), and the money just moved to blow up other sectors in similar fashion. the few stocks that seem overweighted in damn near every index/etf (ie: msft, aapl, etc) slowly move up and move the indexes with them, so we have an appearance of a solid (or overbought) market.

meanwhile, the VAST majority of stocks i see are pretty consistently red since the end of january. especially ones i have. especially the few i decided to hold long-term. (it's comical how bad my 'investing' is vs trading and literal gambling [betting on fights] )

tl;dr - i don't see much to support fundamentals, just a game of switcheroo.

New filling fell out and Moderna shot #2 are the highlights of my non-day as I now have to do more medical errands lol

It's like the amateur has a pair of 2's, showing their hand to the whole table, but they simply refuse to let the game end. Whenever it's time to lay the cards down, they just put more money in the pot and talk a bunch of shit.
