Meh TSLA has been a disappointment.

I think I need to get back into the SPAC game, some are nearing NAV. GSAH is worth a shot, seems a solid SPAC.

best solar panels. nothing's even close. afaik, anyway.

worst conference calls. (i hoped the new cfo meant that the call would be better than the last, they're not very good at conveying their products/financials/etc). i think even nkla's CCs are better. but con artists gotta try to convince people, i guess. maxn seems to try to sandbag.

in the previous cc, they basically just read the financials from the ER, made a vague statement about guidance, and then (like 2 minutes into the call) took questions from a few analysts who seemed to have no idea who they were or what they did.

this wasn't a whole lot better. maxn seems to think that the people in the call already know what their products are/why they're differentiated. but... they clearly don't.

Solar energy companies are way over valued right now. Most of them are garbage and are trading outrageous price to earnings ratio. SPWR for example is a joke, up +400% since 2020 march lol.

The only one I really like is CSIQ for a long term play and its current price is still around fair value IMO.

I think investors have got carried away with EV/Solar/Tech etc. Just nothing seems worth buying. Priced in and the downside potential is to big of a risk.

you missed something, though. maxn's initial price was $37/share (ie: what singapore paid, essentially). and that was BEFORE the solar run-up. ie: they never had a solar run-up. for reference, spwr was like $15ish or something at the time of the split.

that valuation was generally what i bet against, i got in at $20ish.

Bought 10k shares of ASTI today with a total of 71k shares about $0.04 cost average. Will buy till I have 100k. Hope for a reverse split and hoping for relisting.

Good to see a fellow dividend man in here. I was beginning to feel like a boomer because I love my dividends and they don't seem to be a big deal in these threads.

You heard of JEPI ETF from JP Morgan? Pays monthly with about a yield of 10%.
Basically its a ETF that uses cover calls to generate income.

1)Why the P/E ratio for S&P 500 is very high nowadays?

2)Why did Bill Gates sell most of his stocks?

3)Albeit the economy is bad since March 2020, the Stocks are raising without explanation, what do you think about that?

4) Are you aware about Warren Buffet indicator for the stocks? Do you know this indicators point out the current market is overpriced?

4)Do you think there will be a crash/correction soon?
