I really don't know much about it either. I read an article, said NEPT was a good one to own since they **seem** to be a well run company and are focused on the SW part of the country where a bunch of states just legalized recreational use.

But yeah I know jack shit, just taking swings really. These two paid off so far.
 
I really hate the saying “someone knows something” but what is the deal with this Lucid/Churchill merger? The SP is moving on straight FOMO and at this rate it’ll be just under $50 by next Friday if there is no correction. If it’s moving this hard on uncertainty what happens if it’s confirmed? I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of how crazy shit moves now with no rhyme or reason. I stand corrected about it tanking. Looks like they got a volume boost over there.

yeah. and my play at close yesterday left a ton on the table today. but the odds said that we wouldn't have a 5th straight green day to close a week. i don't regret it, but yeah. a lot of this is nuts.


edit: HOLY CRAP, WE HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON GAINS?! NO WAY! god, cnbc sucks.

edit 2: at least it was about losses. the n00bs probably did have no clue about that

canopy, who for the longest time was the #1 leader until Aphria bought tilray, is announcing earnings on the 9th

they are the bellweather for the industry

the big run is basically on the premise that there's a chance to be federally legalize in the states (when it happened in canada, there was a big run)

i'm long on canopy, been in since $10 range, ride the highs and low, stay throughout

Looks like my JMIA covered call will get exercise today. It's for $60 expiration for today.
Bought at 31.43 selling at $60 with a sold call at $465. Not bad. Might get back in with a cash cover put.

Sold a cash cover put for PLTR $930 for the $33 on 08/20/21.
