Economy stonks v10, elections go up. or down. or flat.

Is it a good idea to buy Moderna and Pfizer stocks now considering that they seem to be leading the pack in covid vaccines?

this is my last week playing amd for a long time. best products in every sector they're in. worst negotiating in any sector they're in. supply constrained as fuck and letting sony eat most of the new wafers.

Um I believe its somewhat already priced in the stock. Its not a terrible play but I would probably give it a miss, look for better opportunities.

Anybody really enjoy the bloodbath like I did today? The EV pigs have been slaughtered this week but it was coming.

@brackis1 You were right on earlier. I took your advice and let my son do his first day trade for a $20 gain. He was riding high on that thrill of the kill. Fast forward to AH and it’s down $6. When a successful short let’s you in on what they’d probably short it’s time to close up shop while you’re ahead.

I was feeling like shit for you so this makes me better!
I wasn't short it, but just took a % on a large amount of NIO as a related scareout.

How old is your son? My oldest daughter is 14 and I was thinking the same thing for her. Put her in Disney or something safe and something she can identify with and let her have a say in what she gets.

He’s 11. Over the years he’s struggled with math and science so I took it upon myself to find a way to make it cool. Anyway, I opened an account for him on RH and bought quite a few huge dips of Novavax, Ino, Pfizer, Apple, Microsoft and a few others. We talk about innovation, and different scientific concepts. I go over the numbers with him and it’s helped out a lot. It’s been great and definitely something that I’ll continue to do until he graduates college. It’s only been a year but his portfolio is better positioned than some of the adults I know.

I like your idea too. Teach her financial responsibility and that her ideas and opinion matter. There aren’t enough good parents out there who invest in their children’s future so I tip my hat to you.

I'm down about $189 on my 100 shares of NIO but I sold a call at the $60 strike on 12/18 for $365 so I'm still up. Will keep long term if necessary and keep selling calls till I get assigned. Hopefully above the $60 mark.
