Im very proud that i went 85% or so cash after the first bad day or two.....but i had another 6k sitting in robinhood that i almost cashed out friday right before close but i didn't....now I'm locked out.

I was caught offsides on a cramer Splunk flip I was gonna exit this morning, but thankfully had shorted Sandridge energy on a small bet, and that just crashed 40% so im luckily even on the day,

Good on ya. I may be ignorant but i don't get how trading can be suspended and yet the prices are still rapidly falling....who the fuck is selling? Big institutional sellers getting out while the rest of us sit here and get smoked?

I'm assuming buyers and sellers are still entitled to state their bid/ask without the trades actually proceeding.

Again im not well versed in the behind the scenes...i just don't see why someone would continue to lower their ask if nobody can buy? Any takers at 20? No? 19? 18? I mean nobody can buy so....

Anyway finally sold my remaining 15% boys and ill be officially removing all funds from robinhood and sending them to TD ameritrade...

Ill be ready to buy with this blows over

Trading was only suspended for a few minutes today. First two "circuit breakers" only stop trading for 15 minutes each. Has to drop by 20% to stop trading for more than that.

I think the virus is just a good way to revalue an inflated market that was close to crashing. Just blame the virus, get the market back to a place it should be and all is good, until the next crysis. Wash, rinse and repeat.

I saw that but prices never stopped moving and i had pending sell orders til just 20 minutes ago.

Damn....visa and Facebook down 20% off their highs. Thats pretty incredible and enticing. Especially visa....2 years from now everyone will be spending like a mf and visa will be getting a cut of it all.

and isn't it very possible that the saudis and Russians will realize that a price war hurts everyone and come to terms? Especially with US pressure on the saudis....which I'm assuming there will be.
