I learned the hard way at a higher valuation when I made the stupid idea of trying to time a shortsqueeze (e.g buy the stock expecting an artificcialy high pop from shorts covering their bet by buying replacement shares): this is the market betting the thing bankrupts due to bloat and dwindling brick and mortar suit wearing. Way fewer ppl buying suits

Also since you're newer to the thread: my games are way different plays than most and I shortsell daytrade a lot.

their order execution is notorious. i've been putting up with it because it's free, but this week i've experienced awful lag. and during normal trading hours. the options trading on robinhood is abyssymal, too.

i'm obviously fine with taking responsibility for my mistakes (ie: chap). but when i click market sell at 9:40am and it lags for 25 seconds and then says "queued" instead of executing it, costing me a giant chunk of change... yeah, fuck that.

i tried to catch up to the lulu chain and put a limit order $3 above the current price (ie: about 90 seconds ahead). it stalled on me. this is the 4th time this week. fuck this shit. robinhood sucks.

Yes it is slow on options and doesn't have as much variety. But waiting 25 seconds in que almost never happens to me. I only use it on my phone. Never used the website. 25 seconds is a long and unacceptable time to wait, I would be pissed too.

Webull is another free trading app I haven't had a lag problem with it. Seems at least a little faster than RH. Webull also has a ton more information and is one of the best stock apps in general for information. I used it before it even got in the trading business.

webull was on my shortlist. i almost used them instead of robinhood, to begin with. i'll probably just wait til the weekend to read up on all of them and decide which to use. but robinhood's obviously been pissing me off this week.



and i just bought a fuckton of TLRD. this is either a genius move or sheer idiocy. i guess i'll know (by?) next week. worst case scenario, i'm picking up a ton of .18 dividend on a $5 stock that i'm bagholding. but i figure this is an over-reaction and the dividend scrapers should boost it on friday. (ex/eff is monday)

edit: lolz. while i was typing this, TLRD went from ~$4.96 to $5.40

Went back in on RVLV for another after hours rise.
Missed my first limit order by 3 cents and had to pay an extar 30 cent premium, but I'm still up 1% so i'll take it.

TLRD has a decent enough earnings report/forward statements, but the stock is taking a hit. might be a decent flip for anyone interested. YMMV, caveat emptor, etc.

figured i'd wait til the dividend scrapers appear and gauge it from there. i can't sell ATM, anyway. i didn't notice until after 6pm.

lol. He pumped it to the sky and then put on the brakes. He made me want to buy it eventually. He's right, it's a good company and actually profitable but still overvalued.

It rebounded at least. Shit is scary volatile tho. Still pissed my 20% gain the other day on a smaller position evaporated while I ran errands. Even today it was up huge then end of the day dumped 7% in a few second EOD to only up 3%.
I'm out at 41ish

Scott's Miracle Gro has been a fuckin winner. Decent dividend too. This is a legit pot play. Well, not legit because they had a huge jump in sales due to selling to illicit growers, but legit as in a company and stock. lol. What person with some kind of garden doesn't use these products? Everyone from my mother to my weed dealer uses this shit.

Flipped some FVRR from 26.5-27.5

My RH short worked nice down from 120. It's hilarious to listen to CNBC hype stocks that are up prmarket/AH but are then tanking from their relative position.
