Stipe says dana white does not like him.

Stipe was given an immediate rematch against Cornier when he didn't deserve it and was just waiting it out.
He is doing fine with Dana.

Lol did you even watch Stipe as champ or before. He has a pretty high finishing rate. Imagine Gane as champ trying to point fight his way to decision, or one trick pony Lewis trying to score a Hail Mary ko. Imagine fighters fighting to their strengths. Can’t wait for you haters to be stuck with the Ngannou vs Lewis stalemate 2.
 
Well that's how the business works Stipe. The UFC and Dana White aren't going to do you a favor if you aren't willing to work with them. Besides they gave him one after losing to DC. Why should he get a second one without fighting at least one contender? Is that seriously too much to ask.

This whole beef with the UFC started with him finding out that Overeem was getting paid more than him and then It all went downhill from there. Then he was angry that the UFC was promoting Francis big time. Then he was angry that DC wasn't giving him a rematch immediately after willingly accepting a fight with DC knowing that DC only moved up at the chance that Lesnar would return..

To make matters worse, when he got the belt back he took his sweet time before DC3.

What if he beats Francis and then loses it in his next defense? Another title shot? It's Cain all over

I'm a big fan of Stipe, and he has been the greatest HW champion, but otherwise, I don't care about the philosophy of what's "fair".

It wasn't a remotely competitive fight. Ngannou destroyed him. Stipe barely got off a punch. I'm not slightly interested in an immediate rematch. Stipe needs to climb back.

I don't believe it was on the credentials alone.
People forget to think Cormier is a company man. Do you think he wanted to fight other guys like Blaydes (big guy, good wrestler) or Francis (big guy, one shot KO power)? After Lesnar was out of the options, he probably thought the Stipe rematch was the best choice, given there was also controversy due to the eye poke and Stipe was considered the best HW in the UFC, so a second win would solidify him as a GOAT HW.

The trilogy was dragged out because DC was waiting on a fight with Brock

Dana was literally just waiting for Brock to call him which he never did lol

Then when they figured out that it was time to do the rematch Daniel poked him in the eye like three times and he had to get retinal surgery


Then we had Covid and Stipe couldn't train because of the last one everyone thinks that it's his fault that the shit took so long when it's just DC Dana and Brock

i agree. I’m good on fresh matches. Dana works in mysterious ways when it comes to rematches.
 
Dana gave Stipe a rematch title shot with Cormier even after being KO'd in round 1 and let him heal for a year. Dana has been more than fair to Stipe. Stipe was clogging up the division with his vacations and time off as champ. Think Dana doesn't care and is straight about business and the people don't want a Stipe rematch.
