Stipe Miocic only two losses come from 1) being robbed by the judges and 2) a slippery floor.

Against Junior Dos Santos - Rounds 1, 2 and 5 were clear Miocic rounds. Even one of the Sherdog writers had the fight for Miocic.

Against Stefan Struve - Miocic completed dominated the first round, then an unfortunate slip in the second round resulted in him getting tagged with a good shot sending him into a downward spiral of defeat.



Stipe Miocic will be champion for a very, very long time. He's like a better version of Mirko Crocop and without the glass jaw.
 
Lol at even one of the 3 sherdog writers had the fight for him. He lost that fucking fight. Ridiculous that people have changed the narrative of that fight.
 
He is a great champ until he meets Overeem. Oh wait.
 
Dos Santos won. It was a great back and forth fight but Dos Santos won.
 
Junior dominated him. When it comes to those who thought Stipe won, it was simply a case of him doing better than they expected.

Not to mention that Junior's face swells up easily.
 
Stipe got poked in the eye against struve,not a slippery floor.
 
Struve eye poked him, he couldn't even see to be fair. terrible stoppage as well.

JDS fight was very very close, many people scored it for JDS and many people scored it for Stipe.
 
Anyone who thinks Stipe won that fight are fight are dumb

Clear for JDS. It was a war though one of my all time favorites

There must be some inside joke I'm missing. Nobody really thinks he lost to Struve because of an eye poke or slippery floor......right?
 
I think you'd have a better argument for him being a perennial champ by saying that he improves with every fight he's been in and will continue to do so. As opposed to emphatically saying he clearly won a fight he lost (I had it 3-2 JDS but I thought Stipe won his rounds more decisively) and blaming a loss to a giant on a slick floor.
 
stipe did way better than anyone thought but he lost.
 
Both were legit loses, he's champ now tho, who cares.
 
I agree that he's a great fighter but I don't think that he beat Junior. But he's a much better fighter now than he was then.
 
I was rooting for Stipe and scored JDS winning that fight, though it was close.
That floor has little to do with that finish vs Struve. Stipe got tagged with a jab and uppercut prior to slipping everywhere.
 
Hmh I agree on the poke then slip into the TKO with Struve.

I don't with the JDS fight it was close and competitive but it was JDS's win. But you should be glad he learned more in that fight then in 5+ wins.
