Stipe Miocic is the only man who has ever finished Daniel Cormier

Oh bullshit, he offered to fight stipe for a heavyweight title before stipe was champion? Lmao what a joke, when he actually publicly called out stipe and stipe accepted, the news that jones signed to fight santos came out the same day

Now that stipe is a long reigning actual champion, jones doesn’t want to fight him anymore? The fight, in theory, is a lot more attractive now and he has more to gain by beating stipe. What changed? He knows very well who stipe is and what he can do.
You may not like it, but its the reality

Last checked Jon finished him without getting dominated for three rounds and thrown on his head.

Last I checked DC ended up in a pile after 12 body shots and then 2 jackhammers pounding on his tear glands. You musta changed the channel in the 4th rd to watch Junkyard Dog vs Jimmy Superfly Snuka and missed that part, WWF. Jones winning a questionable split decision with a MW with a broken foot was impressive though.

Factually he was ko’d by jones

if someone breaks their arm in a fight and loses and it’s turned to a NC for whatever reason, it doesn’t change the fact their arm was actually broken

dc was ko’d, concussed and then cried via jones

sorry!
I've made this same argument many times when people say Jon didn't beat him twice.

Yes, on paper it was a NC but we all saw with our own eyes there was indeed a contest that night and someone did in fact win that contest.

For the next week everyone agreed there was a contest and there was no dispute who one it but then suddenly because of two arbitrary letters on a piece of paper suddenly we were allowed to pretend like it never happened which is kind of dumb.

Been watching since UFC 1, partner. Tough to have a civil conversation around here I guess. There are levels to juicing and the more juicing the more likely you are to pop. I’m not a chemist or USADA official but that makes sense to me. Since getting popped Jones is clearly slower appears to be less strong. I believe there is the possibility that everyone is on the juice but Jon was doubling his dose if that’s the case. But long story short Stipe rag dolls Mr. Jones.
Rag doll? LOL you’re either delusional or just a troll, if stipe wa smart he’d avoid the clench for deer life as well s changes . Considering Jon is versatile lands more and is better just about everywhere stipes only chance of winning is if Jon decides to commit to an all hands fight no kicks no elbow clench work or take downs, even then it’s just a chance. LOL

They let deer fight now?

I am thankful for this moment.

This and Jose Aldo getting KTFO out are two or the most exciting moments in UFC history.

God bless Stipe and Conor.
Satisfaction over DC getting knocked out I get, but why Aldo? Or is it just Conner nuthuggery?

Stipe is a great guy, he has good hands, but for a #1 HW, he's pretty subpar.

As for DC, he was able to KO Stipe and win a few rounds in the rematch. Against Jones he wasn't even on the same level.

Well he certainly wasnt on the same level of steroids as jones was.

He didnt beat him twice though.

He cheated, used steroids and then beat a fighter whom he had a large advantage over.

It means nothing.

Jones should fight DC twice and let DC roid as much as he wants. You think Jones takes that fight? Of course not. He wouldnt even fight DC at HW because DC would have "too many advantages."

What are you talking about? He never made a legitimate offer to fight stipe. The reality is stipe actually accepted his Twitter call out and jones fought Thiago Santos instead. That’s the reality.

It’s a heavyweight fight. It’s way, way different. Even a jump from 55-70 is significant, this is way bigger.

Lol if you actually believe this. Former Olympic wrestler as champ in his 40s haha

Do I believe that Cormier wasnt on steroids like Jones?

If only we had some sort of tests that could determine that sort of thing.....

Oh wait, we do. The ones Jones failed over and over.

Yep only guy to beat him without failing the steroid test.

Stipe KOd Overeem, JDS, Arli and Werdum in less than 10 mins ... wheres the hype?

you guys are in a bit of a fantasy world.

for a pro athlete Jones indescressions are very modest.

There are plenty of college students that engage in more debauchery than him, and he's a millionaire cage fighter.

How many of those fine young lads have injected of substance that's banned in the sport. Has been cheating his whole life and got the UFC to cover his ass because he's the biggest money-maker?

Like I said, factually the fight was a no contest.

That is literally a fact.

You will literally find no record book that disputes that.
Factually "No contest" implies there was no contest that took place.

If nothing else can we agree that it's a fact we witnessed a contest that night and one man was acknowledged as the winners of said contest for the next 7 days?

I like you dude but we've been down this road before and it's a lose lose for both of us but I think at least agreeing on the above is a solid compromise.
