And Jones lost to Hamil, GSP to Sera, Mike Perry to Cowboy. Most of the greats have some embarrassing loses. It’s about keeping going. At least he didn’t do a Francis on it and run to the b leagues.
 
I’ll be rooting for Stipe to pull off the upset, but I think he gets dominated and choked unconscious. This fight should’ve been made years ago

Comparing Struve win to Hamil is extremely dumb. Struve was a legit KO
 
I'm picking Stipe because I want it to happen, not necessarily because it's realistic.

I've learned my lesson about picking against Jones but I don't care lol

Stipe had a bad night in their second fight and flat footed Francis ran to the b leagues rather than do the honourable thing any civilised person would do and grant Stipe a rematch. A trilogy would have put the debate to bed but fragile Francis knew he got lucky.
 
I just think it is nice letting Stipe out of the nursing home to get some fresh air.

Yes that AA and Reem were already into their 2-3rd decade into mma. And had about 2 dozen concussive KO defeats between em and balydesz lol

I dont think i have ever seen a 41 year old coming back after a loss and 2 year inactivity to perform at even 70% peak level. If he does indeed win that would be one of the best wins for any fighter ever. However i think he will get smoked.
 
Not sure why Jones is such a favourite….Jones has fought one stylistically favourable opponent in how many years ? How did he look against Reyes and Silva ? …. I realize Stipe hasn’t done anything either, but not sure people act like jones is in 2012 form

I honestly think it's more of a fuck you to DC than anything. It's probably DC's biggest win and I feel like it's just another way of Jon trying to take a little something away from DC.

Stipes corpse maintained it will "do whatever he wants" in the Jones fight. Doesn't seem too likely but at least he's confident in himself even if nobody else is. Anyone at all picking Stipe? I see this as easy money for Jones and essentially a cop out of a fight.
