The truth is, it's Jon Jones who has never faced a legit 6'4", lean, strapping, 240 pound heavyweight that can match him in wrestling and knock him out with one punch.

No need to get emotional. No need to say that Jones has "a thousand things" Stipe's never seen before. It's all bull ship.

If you think Jones has certain strengths, and certain nuances, we agree.

But so does Stipe — legit strength – and legit KO power — the likes of which Jones has never faced before in his life.

that's a pretty significant amount of weight. He could have done that at any point of his career. He just chose to do it at the end after talking about doing it for a decade.

He is fearless with a very good well rounded skill set. The two years off might be refreshing especially because he knows this is a career defining fight.

Just because Stipe had 2 year layoff doesn't mean shxt and Jones himself had 3 years layoff... the guy is fuking legit with a good camp he is extremely dangerous can beat any man alive if he hits his form and has the skills and know how..

This is not strickland or Julia Pena moments. Stipe is a seasonal long reigning champion who has alot of championship experience. Him beating Jones won't be an upset..

I keep hearing this fight being compared to strickland-adesanya or Pena-Nunes which is bullshit..

I would say Jones beating Stipe could be seen on paper as a upset but current climate and betting standards have to give Jones the edge based on recency..

I expect a great fight between these two , Jones takes his challenges head on ..so it should be good, both will be prepared we've never seen Stipe not prepared for an opponent
