Stipe blames DC loss on "Eye Poke"

Not liking how Stipe isn't accepting this loss whatsoever, blames the eye poke, and says he did everything right, "and just missed it."

All that being said, I like Stipe and think it's possible for him to win this fight, but he has to learn from the last fight, DC's clinch work is all time great.

Well hopefully he also realizes he has a vulnerability when exiting the clinch. Cormier said they noticed it and practiced it. Writing off losses as a fluke and not learning from them is just asking for it to happen again.

Well, it was a pretty bad eyepoke, and the KO came pretty much right after.

Eyepokes are low-key legal. Jones blatantly admits he does them on purpose, there are almost never repercussions.

Fighters are pretty much on their own to be careful against them and deal with them if / when they happen. The refs & commissions don’t give a fuck.
