Yikes. This is exactly what I’m talking about. That is not a conservative stance at all. A conservative would never say that the government should have a controlling interest in private companies content.
Enforcing free speech in the public commons is absolutely conservative. Fuck off David French.
He got demonitized because of a video he made. He no longer fit the guidelines for being advertiser friendly.
Not so. Google has received un told billions in taxpayer subsidies as well as government protections from civil liability for being an open platform.
Argument is old and weak.

@nac386 "Advocating for the government to step in and control Youtube is not a conservative stance, it's a big government stance"
The worst fear society seems to have is White people using the government to their own advantage instead of to their own demise.
This is the issue here . . . advocate for these folks. NOT further government overreach.
Youtube is not the public. It's a website, owned and operated. Advocating for the government to step in and control Youtube is not a conservative stance, it's a big government stance. It's advocating for overreach. The government should have absolutely no say in what Youtube allows on their website.
Who cares crowder is a low iq failed comedian snowflake who can't take the heat when it's fired back at him. He had links to his store selling a shirt that says socialism is for f*gs. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

And then there's this crap . . .
Sorry, the underlying protocols of the internet are public domain. If they wish to continue using them, they are going to abide by our national core values such as freedom of speech. Otherwise I have 0 problem DNS sinkholing them at the I.P. level and letting them get along with people having to type in their IP address to access the website.
The supreme court has rejected prior restraint as unconsitutitonal restrictions on speech. What these companies are doing is anticonstitutional and should be punished severely.
All Internet sites control their content. That is not unconstitutional. For example, you cannot post pornography on any of the major platforms. Should the government also step in for that? Of course not.
The government should stay out of the business of private entities. Asking for the government to control websites is a terrible idea.

Another one bites the dust.
Still a lot more work to do though.
