A lot of the stuff social media platforms turn a blind eye to, like doxxing the Convington MAGA kids, calling for violence against politicians like Nigel Farage, urging people to punch 'Nazis' etc, are not only against their own rules and therefore an example of a massive double standard, they are flat out illegal. There were blue check mark journalists and celebrities on twitter posting links to the names an addresses of the Covington kids teachers, accompanied with comments from the baying mod threatening to kill them and nothing was done. But hey, they are private companies and can do what they want.
 
Question for the folks in the thread . . . do you even know what kicked off the entire meltdown that gay Vox dude had with Crowder?

If you dont know the story, some whiny liberal bitch cried to YouTube about crowder. Crowder wasn’t banned, but YouTube is now cracking down on many independent journalists and content makers.

YouTube says they will promote large media companies more and scale back promoting independent content makers.

The media is pissed that guys like Tim pool get WAY more viewship numbers per week than major cnn anchors on cable tv.

A discussion about ANTIFA and that guy was saying they do no wrongs, outside of limited bad examples.
 
This ultimately comes down to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. needing to decide if they're a platform or publisher.

If they're a platform they can remove what they want. If they're a publisher I'm not sure that's the case.

They don't have that right while being afforded civil protection from the government. If the content is illegal, like calls to violence, then they can police it. Other than that, it gets really sketchy.

Looking on the bright side, it is funny that this guy might have pulled off the biggest self ownage of all time. Probably thought only conservatives would hate him for this. Guy is about as popular as a toilet bug right now, and it's only gonna get worse as more and more channels get caught in the crossfire he created.
