Social Steven crowder demonetized

Yikes. This is exactly what I’m talking about. That is not a conservative stance at all. A conservative would never say that the government should have a controlling interest in private companies content.

Enforcing free speech in the public commons is absolutely conservative. If these tech companies want to be treated as platforms on top of infrastructure developed by Taxpayer dollars. They can abide by the moral tenets of our constitution.

Enforcing free speech in the public commons is absolutely conservative. Fuck off David French.

I don't know (or care) who David French is.

Youtube is not the public. It's a website, owned and operated. Advocating for the government to step in and control Youtube is not a conservative stance, it's a big government stance. It's advocating for overreach. The government should have absolutely no say in what Youtube allows on their website.

He got demonitized because of a video he made. He no longer fit the guidelines for being advertiser friendly.

Crowder's lawyer asked for specifics on this . . . YouTube provided a couple of different responses. One mentioned a video from 2015 that was previously reviewed, approved and made YouTube some cash. I think it was one where a rape/sexual assault victim was discussing the issue in the UK. They then mentioned something about the FIGS shirt.

That's it. Out of the thousands of videos Crowder has made of the 10 years or so he's been on YouTube they could provide 2 examples.

Crowder will be fine. The issue is that this will impact others more.

@nac386 "Advocating for the government to step in and control Youtube is not a conservative stance, it's a big government stance"

The worst fear society seems to have is White people using the government to their own advantage instead of to their own demise.

This is the issue here . . . advocate for these folks. NOT further government overreach.

And then there's this crap . . .

What? How did you get from point A to point B here?

What does the government interfering with Youtube have to do with the demise of white people?

Sorry, the underlying protocols of the internet are public domain. If they wish to continue using them, they are going to abide by our national core values such as freedom of speech. Otherwise I have 0 problem DNS sinkholing them at the I.P. level and letting them get along with people having to type in their IP address to access the website.

The supreme court has rejected prior restraint as unconsitutitonal restrictions on speech. What these companies are doing is anticonstitutional and should be punished severely.

I think folks are more aggravated about the inconsistent way this is being applied.

Anyone else find it hilarious that FINALLY a leftist is victim of his own unintended consequences?

Who cares crowder is a low iq failed comedian snowflake who can't take the heat when it's fired back at him. He had links to his store selling a shirt that says socialism is for f*gs. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Another one bites the dust.

Still a lot more work to do though.

All Internet sites control their content. That is not unconstitutional. For example, you cannot post pornography on any of the major platforms. Should the government also step in for that? Of course not.

The government should stay out of the business of private entities. Asking for the government to control websites is a terrible idea.

This is why conservatives lose.

Youtube should be DNS sinkholed and lose their legal protections and be deemed a publisher, since they are curating content based on political bias.

Where did I advocate for the government to do ANYTHING?

'Bites the dust?'

Don't you realize this is the MOST publicity Crowder has EVER had?

He doesn't rely on YouTube for revenue, he has his own subscription service back by Glenn Beck's Blaze Network.

'Gaywonk' tried to destroy Crowder, but is helping him become more popular than his figgy mind could possibly imagine.

The injustices continue. Here are some prevelant ones:

1. Boxing judges for MMA fightes.
2. A man robbed a woman in her car at gunpoint, she floored it to get a way and in the process the crook smashed his worthless head on the windshield. He sued her for damages and won.
3. Libtarts are on a social media rampage like Nazis blocking anything they disagree with. Crowder the latest target.
