Is rory because rory will keep his range and jab him all night and in a five rounder might get thompson impatient and get the finish

3rd dan black belt in karate GSP wont get confused by any stance or switch.

i think Hagler knocks him out tbh

Forest Griffin respects the hands of Stephen Thompson

Demian Maia. Death by cuddling.

I think Maia is the tougher fight.

maia is the master of the single-leg takedown - the bane of the side-stance karate master

Rory will always be the Kenny Florian of the WW's.

I don't exactly agree with your post, but agree that it's probably Rory. Though Matt Brown did beat him :p

I think Rory is tough fight, but Lawler is obviously the hardest matchup. He's closed the distance against Rory twice, and Condit, and Matt Brown, and Hendricks. Thompson can be champ but he did get dropped by Ellenberger, so I dont see him avoiding it from a guy like Lawler.

I think Condit is also a hellish matchup for Thompson because he's a gameplan freak, he'd be ready for whatever Thompson brings in my opinion

Yeah, I think i'd favor Rory over Thompson. Rory is very crafty and seasoned on the feet for a young guy if he dosen't get baited to brawl. And his TD's, and Ground game are also incredibly strong.

Any striker in that divisions worst nightmare is Maia.

Wonderboy at range finishes Lawlers work and kicks Rorys nose clear out the back of his medulla oblangata

Maia in a small cage - although we could see Thompson do what Anderson did, but Maia is much stronger at WW

Lombard also, assuming he was active enough could pose issues for Thompson, explosive, tough, excellent top game, excellent trips
