Birtherism was a way for them to dismiss the fact America had a Black president by claiming he is illegitimate. They can not come out and just say that no Black can be considered a leader of Americans, so instead they resort to these indirect way to convey the same sentiment.

The USA has been racially diverse for a very long time. The problem right now is the Social Justice movement, cultural marxism beliefs brought on from 2008 til now.

Prior to the 1965 immigration act the US was said to be over 92% White. It is now much lower. The US is far more diverse now, whereas in the past the only real racial diversity was African Americans and Native Americans. Part of the reason the US % of Whites is lower now is because Hispanics used to be considered White before the Nixon Administration created the category.

Some Social Justice Activism is ok and some is daft and some is just bad. I would not throw the baby out with the bath water and say all Social Justice Activism is bad. You can say the Civil Rights act was also Social Justice Activism.

Obama case is completely different from other black americans. He is not descended from slaves, he is half white and half kenyan muslim with a muslim name because his mother loved sleeping around with exotic men and didn't even bother to give him an english name.
It would be also really bizarre if there was a white candidate who was half russian, called Влади́мир Влади́мирович Хрущёв, lived most of his life abroad, had family that was KGB and then suddenly moved to the US to become a politician. That would raise no suspicions at all.
