Sure. And that was bad. But the one silver lining is that the GOP leadership, the intelligence communities, the MSM, ect didn't embrace the movement and begin pumping millions into government agencies and resources in an attempt to pursue this. It didn't dominate his presidency and never threatened to remove him from office. Don't you think what has gone on now is an escalation to that?

Mueller is a Republican, so spare us the nonsense that Dems are using the government to try and remove Trump. Trump surrounded himself with a lot of shady people ; can't blame the Dems for that.

Like I told you in the other thread...you are being propagandized. GOP leadership = DNC leadership. You've really got to break out of that spell you're under(and yes I do mean spell). Mitt Romeny and John McCain also a republicans, correct? Bernie was a democrat in 2016, right? That sure didn't stop the DNC leadership, and the media, from conspiring against him and his campaign nor smearing him ahead of 2020.

Escalated a little, it wasn't that long ago that the Republicans went after Bill Clinton, eventually got him impeached, with an investigation that was allowed to pursue anything, seemingly. I think it's similar to what's happening now, except that popular support is behind the current investigation. Whereas, Gingrich sabotaged his career because the American public actually cared little about the Presidents affairs.

It was dicey back then in the house and senate, it has gotten worse but the biggest difference today is social media, 24 hour news that must be filled with something, and rapid reporting of everything.

Oh what was the absolute best about Gingrich is that fucker was cheating on his wife as well. Later divorced. He's a complete piece of shit.

I wonder what all these investigations cost tax payers...

Post where he said "Mother effer" as POTUS (or anything similar) and I'll retract.

Take YOUR weasel comments out of here!!!

There is a HUGE difference between speaking like a grade-school potty mouth before or when not in public office and when doing it while in office. It's a terrible example. Terrible.

You are just showing again you are being a hack, with your loaded argument "as POTUS"

It doesn't effin matter whether he was POTUS when he said it, it only matters that he said it. He said it on national TV while on the podium. If that isn't public then what the heck is. This was no private conversation between friends/acquaintances.

Here you go, while he was campaigning. And his supporters applauded it. You Trumpers show an amazing ability for hypocrisy
