Also, wasn't Kylo on that island with Luke? Why doesn't he know where it is? Whatever, just another question to plague myself with.

Yeah, that's unclear. It would seem like it because of the hut looking about the same, but I don't recall any evidence establishing Ach-To as the same place Luke trained Kylo and betrayed himself.

you rang?

Remember when Force used to be cool in the movies. Cool in a sense that it required effort and had limits or at least modesty.

Now it's literally a cheap Marvel superpower you can use to fly through the vacuum of space,
bring people back to life which doesn't fit the previous movies at all, force ghosts handing you objects etc. The writers really dont give a fuck anymore

Oh well back to pretending the sequels dont exist

We can thank Rian for that. He changed the Force enough in The Last Jedi that JJ was just like fuck it, Force can do whatever. He probably would have never even thought of adding his own Force powers, that would be too original.

You never actually discussed movie

I wouldn't be surprised if that turns into the new way for studios and shills to manipulate Rotten Tomatoes.

All-female reboot of Fight Club is released.

"The projector was focused very clearly on the screen."
"My shoe soles didn't stick to the ground at all. They keep the floor clean."
"The movie started on time."
"The people behind me didn't talk at all during the movie."
"The Diet Coke wasn't flat. Really not watery at all for a movie theater."
"The seats were comfortable."

100% Positive Reviews, certified Fresh.

remember though it was TFA where MaryLou essentially drew with Kylo Ren on a lightsaber duel.

One could say that dueling is not force specific like force pushes but ever since A New Hope it’s been made clear that lightsaber skillz are overwhelmingly driven by mastery of the Force.

Movie is crashing and burning in China. It's currently in 4th place at the Chinese box office.

A country that eats dogs and puts Muslims in concentration camps still has enough good taste to hate this movie<45><Lmaoo>

I liked and still like the first episode, the pod race, Darth Maul, Obi Wan and Qui Gon Jin.

Jar Jar didn’t bother me too much but the “midiclorean count” was infuriating to hear.

Episode two was ok because of count Dooku and episode 3 final fight between Obi and Anakin was amazing.

Yoda and his fighting style was silly and the dialog very immature.

But with Lucas at least he brought new people/species/planets/stories, it’s easy to see they tried but it wasn’t the way it could have been.

These new movies aren’t even trying just latching on to a current social trend and safely trying to copy a blue print.

Interesting, you're one of very few I've spoken to that are ok with Ep1.

I was completely fine with it in every regard except for Jar-Jar......by the time it ended I was just praying that he'd get offed. Violently. Unfortunately I found that this took a lot away from the overall experience. We didn't need THAT much uncommical relief imo.

I liked 2, and loved 3.

Three has taken heat for a number of reasons, as I'm sure you're aware, but from a sheer action, brutality and storyline standpoint it offsets the "bad acting" gripes and so forth imo. I thought 3 was great...not ep4 or ep5 great, but still way up there.

Agreed. For what it's worth, I rank them in this order,

Empire Strikes Back

Return of the Jedi

Revenge of the Sith

A New Hope

Rogue One

Clone Wars

Force Awakens

The Last Jedi:mad:

Couple more hours until show time. All the divisiveness has gotten me really interested. It’s like when Death Stranding came out, all the mixed reviews made me have to see for myself.

Damn, the critics ain't even shilling for this one. I doubt the force will be female for much longer.

that's because my comment was about the theater I went to, not the content of the movie.

I made some basic comments about the movie in another post... & that I loved it, and said that I'm not interested in hearing what a bunch of resistance folk are saying about it this close to Christmas.

I'm way deep in it & consumed by it atm... & discussing the fuck out of it in a PM I have with like minded people. You guyz can have this place for now. I might actually sell it to you real cheap if you wreck the place too much before I get back. :D

...the neighbors have already been complaining.

Sounds like you don't actually have anything to say about it. Instead you're waiting for everybody to criticize it so you can criticize their criticism. You don't have to read any posts before making your own, you could have just dropped a post highlighting some general thoughts. You've admitted you only post to tell everybody else why they're wrong about what they like.

You've already off to a good start by saying that you don't see anything in this movie as walking back what the last jedi did. I thought you saying you've never defended star wars was the most trollish thing you would ever post, but you've already topped it with that statement.
