Yup that's what I am thinking as well those Siths and Jedi's you mentioned are like the GOAT contenders of their time.

That is why when fucking Mace Windu killed Jengo Fett just like that I was not disappointed at all. Its the prime era for the Jedi after all I also want to think that Mace Windu is more powerful than Luke Skywalker in return of the Jedi.

Heck George Lucas even said that Mace did in fact beat Darth fucking Sidious.


In Episode three after Palps said " I am the Senate" I am really getting excited inside the Cinema seeing Mace in action in Ep2 I knew he will be the one to fight Sidious! I was like oh shit this is gonna be good.

And then Palps pulls his Red Light Saber!

In the Original trilogy we only saw Palps use Force lightning not a Saber so I was really excited to see him in combat!

Oh Mace is legit.. best bounty hunter my behind they have nothing on that Jedi Master.

In fact Mace was possible the best ever (from what we saw in all the movies) in 1 on 1 lightsabers duels.. no one can win vs him if they don't cheat / trick him.

So yes Mace would have wiped the floor with Luke from return of the Jedi in my opinion.

Force lighting doesn't seem to work on high level masters if they are ready for it they use tutaminis:

Even mid level skilled force users (like a very skilled fighter and experienced Obi but in terms of powers he wasn't elite level) if they are ready for it and have a lightsaber they can defend vs it.

Also note that the Sith only have elite level users, they always approach and corrupt high level guys already, there is no can in the ranks of a Sith even the weakest one is still bad ass level. While the Jedi have numbers they have low and mid tier people too. Come to think of it I think the weakest Sith that we saw was Darth Maul and even he was a bad ass.

I love Palpatine too Ian McDiarmid really put him to life! I also love how his force mask got unravelled and his Sith face revealed!

One thing that's been annoying in these conversations, is the constant assertion that the people that don't like the movie are some tiny but vocal group of "haters"

I just happened to stumble across this... & even if you aren't referring to me... I'm sure I contributed to it.

Just so you know....

I speak very differently to people who simply "don't like" TLJ... & those who "flame" on it. Those who don't like it & want to discuss it have my respect for their opinion... & I'm happy to have civil conversations with them about our differences.

I wanted to point out that I went on a "calculated & pre-thought out" campaign... purposefully targeting "the flamers"... by calling them haters & casuals & whatever else seemed fitting in an effort to let them feel a bit of their own medicine. I also belittled them by reducing their numbers to a handful. That was obviously an exaggeration... but it riled them up just as much as their over the top exaggerations rile me up... so fair play.

The fact is that there were way too many people dropping in here & making posts saying nothing but something like this "Fook Star Wars... TLJ is a pile of sh*t." or something like that.

.... & that's all they would say!!!!

.... & they'd do it 20 times a day!!!!

That is what is f*cked up. They are not contributing anything toward any kind of conversation... they are doing nothing but flaming. This place was getting over- run by them... & so I came in here & cracked some skullz & made it just as uncomfortable for them to come in here as they were making it for me to have to endure their incoherent & useless flaming.

So I just wanted you to be clear that not everyone who is attacking the flamers, cannot also talk to someone who "doesn't like it" in a civilized way. I have been doing both ever since I started my flamer bashing campaign a couple months ago.

I would like to point out too that I was not exaggerating when I said that the only reason they seem to post more in here is because the people who like it just don't want to be exposed to their flaming. That is very real. I may have exaggerated about their numbers to rile them up... but they are still not the majority.... like they think they are.

A lot of people here have this attitude of well your point was WRONG, so now I'm going to insult you in every way possible. And then these same people act like they're interested in scholarly debate. You shouldn't immediately escalate to insults because you dislike someone's source or opinion.


Frankly I suspect people like that are impotent, frustrated cowards irl. They know other men will beat the shit out of them for talking like that irl, so they do it online where people can't put hands on them. Cowardly.

Allowing these people to treat it as if it were the OT is what makes me not even want to come here. it is the very reason why I went on my flamer bashing campaign. I'm over it now & my work is picking up, so I don't have time for it. The flamers will either over run this place or they will need to be properly told by authorities to get back to the OT.

It seems to be happening a little bit if I'm not mistaken... so well done to whomever is making that happen... but especially these Star Wars threads need to be monitored a little closer. Heavy convo is one thing... but OT style communication & just out right flaming... should be policed a little harder than it has been. Please.

Yeah part of the reason I made that post is I've seen people flaming you, TGF, and others in this thread and really throughout the Berry. Wanted to make it clear that long time Berry posters don't approve of or appreciate OT and WR style posting moving over here. This place is supposed to be basically a safe neutral zone from all that crap.


You're a great poster and I don't appreciate people putting you down and making you feel like crap, when you're going out of your way to be civil. Just know that the larger community doesn't approve of that at all.

Darth Maul was a bad ass. You underestimate the ability to best Mr. Jinn. Mr. Wan waz lucky to get out with his life as well. He had a tough run, but he was no slouch.

Yes, of course he defeats the inanimate bones of Maul that are buried in the sands of Tatooine.

Prime Maul that took out Mr. Jinn... I don't think so. Not trying to take anything away from the raw power & extensive training that Mr. Solo has.... but I think it's a stretch to think that his current skill level could take out prime Maul.

Ben's got at the most 6 years of training. Maul was raised by a witch who wanted to be a Sith... in a community designed to raise warriors from birth. he was taken under Palpatine's personal training from I'd say the age of 5 or so & intensely trained to be a Sith Assassin. No way "current" Kylo f*cks with prime Maul.

Now if we're talking about a decade jump between ep. 8 & 9 & that raw power can develop more... then we might could talk.
