Theyre gonna be pissed.
Especially when they see bombs being dropped and 4 min later, leia is floating.

Maybe they know it's a movie. :p

Maybe the bombs had something in their design that made them go down and stick / blow to the target.

Maybe in 0 gravity you already are 'flying' and you just use the force to nudge yourself in a direction.

Haha, sorry couldn't help it I like the movie a lot gave it 8.5/10 and might just be the best one since Empire but let's stay conservative and say the best since the OT.

Merry Christmas fellow sherbros!

you can tell some people have the mindset, "D's and C's get degrees". 60-70% for a star wars film is bad, there's no denying that. the film doesn't live up to its hype, you're a blind fanboy if you deny that. fans are clearly underwhelmed by the movie, sorry some people can't accept this.
Everyone I went and saw it with had a great time. You'e being a fanboy by hating it because it didn't play out the way you wanted it to

I have never seen people so ready to argue and flame someone who enjoyed a movie. What in the fuck?

TLJ was such a strange experience. I've seen several reviews hating on it that I agree with while at the same time, seeing reviews that love it and agree as well.

I think as a film, it's perfectly fine and I enjoyed it outside of the casino part. As a Star Wars fan though, I would have went in a different direction and changed several things.

The big problem and the same problem I had with Force Awakens is that it feels like fan fiction and it is. It's one Director's fan fiction take on what he wants to see in Star Wars. This isn't Lucas anymore and even though most of us didn't care for the prequels, we still had to accept them since it was Lucas.

It's pretty clear now to me that Disney should have just let JJ direct all 3 and Rian direct the next 3. You can't let a different director handle each movie because we all have different ideas and takes on Star Wars. It worked when Lucas did it because he was super hands on but with no overseer, it's a mess and in his case, Rian threw out almost all of JJ's ideas and stories he set up.

The first 90 minutes or so, up until the throne room fight scene, were dreadfully boring. I would have left if it wasn't a Star Wars movie.

The last hour or so was good, not great. Humor was pretty flat.

Yeah im sure Disney is happy about half the audience not really digging the film. lol get a fucking break dumby.

CinemaScore: A
IMDB: 7.7

Dummy.

At this point you're either lying to yourself or lying to the rest of us. Because there is more than enough evidence to show that most people DID like the movie.

Leia floating cringe scene made my butthole tighten up in a way that i'm now impossible to rape.

The problem for Disney is a very vocal fan base that is keeping negative headlines out there. I thought as a film it was fine, but as piece of SW it sucked.

I enjoyed it quite a bit and have it as my #2 film of the year.

To be fair, I have cooled on it just slightly, but that just means I dropped my score from an 8.5 to an 8.

Why do you think it doesn't work as a Star Wars movie?

I hope they film themselves re-enacting the Leia force-pull scene after they’re done watching it

I really can't see how anybody could think this was a good movie apart from blind allegiance to the franchise. It's like they get boners when they see Star Destroyers and lighsabres and all of the blood rushes from their head and they are unable to think logically.

The story is shit, the characters are awful. The tone is all over the place. It's a mess.

Apparently Kevin Smith, James Rolfe, and Mike Matei also liked it.

Then you got Red Letter Media whom doesnt bash it, but damn..do they?

These are the guys who got well known from their very in depth review of Phantom Menace.

Stoklasa asks the same question I've been asking, which is whether this movie is Rian Johnson's practical joke.

Rian Johnson trolled the audience.
