Based solely off the three trailers I watched, I'll make some predictions.

Girl, x-wing guy and black guy are main characters, and we follow all three with converging story paths. Black guy will be with girl and x-wing guy does his own thing for now.

Girl is Jedi and daughter of either Luke or Leia. Black dude is disillusioned storm trooper who helps her on her journey. The part where black dude has light sabre is just him picking it up to defend girl after she foolishly trys to fight mask Sith. You can tell by his face he realises it's a bad idea.

I doubt Luke is mask Sith, would he too predictable and lame.

Super pumped for this shit either way.

This, we've known Adam Driver is Kylo Ren for a long time now.

I think Luke is off establishing a new Jedi order.
 
Looks awesome I must say! First time I have been excited about a Star Wars film since I was a kid...

We don't know if clones have anything to do with the "new" empire.

A lot of judgement about his acting from a whole 20 seconds or so in the teaser/trailers.

He's been in a grand total of 2 or 3 brief shots...why is there any complaining is the real question

its that the statement came off more like a criticism of the movie's lead being a black man. not a criticism that the actor who happened to be black was a shit actor.

I admit it wasn't the best, I do, but if the roles were totally reversed and I said "that white guy is the main? Wow, that sucks." Would that be racist towards whites? I think not. I identified who I was talking about in the most efficient manner. I had thought when I saw I picture of him that he was just a storm trooper, that was shocking too. That a ST would be a main.

Still, I can do better than that.
 
I've seen him in attack the block, he was good in that and the character is a badass. But its not a role that shows much range. I'm confident that the director and casting people know his capabilities better than us.

I'm just curious if he drops the british accents and switches to a fake American accent when he decides to join the rebels (to fit in) or if he has it the whole way through.:D
 
Lol at people calling out Finn actor for being goofy looking. WTF is this shit? We judging actors on looks now? Can't really wrap my mind around "he's not impressive," either. We literally saw about 40 seconds if his acting between the two trailers.


Wonder if all the avoiding Luke is just to build up hype for when he does appear in the movie (I'm assuming it's going to be very late and it's going to be ultra badass) or if it is deliberate Disney shenanigans to fuel the rabid speculation that everybody is spouting. I mean even if we didn't know that Adam Driver was cast, I don't see how you can buy that Luke is kylo unless you think he's on stilts. Looks like a big fucking dude, which, of course, we know Driver is.

Hamill, conversely, isn't even tall enough to be a storm trooper.
 
Ok. Its settled. I am jumping on the "Luke is Kylo Ren" bandwagon.

Maybe he is the master and Adam Driver is the apprentice.
