STAR WARS EPISODE 8 PUSHED BACK TO DEC FROM MAY.
Going up against Avatar 2 seems like an odd choice.

2.) I know it's a common ship type even with all the shit Han did to it but (Granted, this is from the books PRE-Disney purchase) it still generally took two to fly it properly.2. She stated she was a pilot, so I am assuming flying an an old pretty common ship would not be impossible, but it seems like the force was already helping her then.
3. Sure, why not.
4. Being an experienced rebel/resistance fighter, he knows how to blend in and hide and then get off planet with little difficulty. Once he knew they were not there, he split.
5. It is emblematic of the fact that he is not a real master of the Force and it shows in his shoddy saber.
No reason given yet. Might be more there. Maybe ancient light saber style? who knows.
6. Way back in ANH, Luke asks Obi if the force can control your actions. He tells Luke yes but it can also guide them as well. At that point Rey is being enlightened/guided by the Force to defeat Ren. She is already way stronger in the force than him anyway. She is the Neo of Star Wars.
8. Expect to see Cpt. Phasma in ep. 8.
10. I thought he ran out like everyone else.
I actually didn't mind the look though I figured it'd open yourself to cutting yourself on it.Ren's lightsaber uses a cracked crystal that makes the blade more volatile, with the two exhaust points giving the effect of a crossguard.
I didn't like the design of his lightsaber at first, but seeing and hearing it in the cinema changed my mind. The first time he draws it and it hisses and crackles into life is fucking awesome with all the surround sound.

Maybe the hype from the first Avatar will carry over to the next one? I hope not, because that movie was truly mediocre besides the visual effects but it wouldn't surprise me.I actually don't see an issue with it. Honestly I know very few people who actually liked this movie. Almost everyone talks about the 3d and that's it. When you talk to them about the actual movie the general response is "Meh". I tried watching it at home and turned it off about 2/3 of the way through. It was just a really boring and over done plot line. How many times have we seen that done already?

I hope you're right, but even if it does worse than the original it will probably still do well over 1.5 billion. Even crap such as transformers pulls good numbers. Jurassic World wasn't great either and did great. Thought it has the nostalgia of Jurassic Park, so I guess that could explain JW.It's possible that the hype will carry it. I honestly think though it's going to do much worse compared to the first one. The 3D phase has sort of died down and I hardly know anyone who wants to see a 3D movie most people prefer just a normal movie. I think most people realize how mediocre the movie was and wont be in a rush to see it. I could be wrong though.

In the now non-canon books it was an utter failure too. Jacen, Solo/Leia's son almost kills his own sister and Luke when he goes batty.I still can't wait to find out how exactly Luke blundered rebuilding the Jedi order. Because holy hell it sounds like he did a smash up job of being a failure.
